"Great visit for breakfast this morning! Their staff were friendly and they had several games on TV even with it being early in the morning."

"Enjoyed our drinks on the upstairs patio in the blazing sun. Glad we had an umbrella! Service great and friendly considering how busy it was.Sangria good but watered down. Refreshing in the heat though. Great beer selection. Nachos good but not a huge portion compared to other pubs.We will definitely go back!"

"The Full House restaurant no longer exists due not only to a lack of respect and focus to their clients, but also negligence to an exclusive capital location. After inspecting the site, it was a shame to see how the people previously running the place didn't put any effort in maintaining such a lovely Canadian historical building that was on the brinks of collapse. However, an outstanding entrepreneur took over the site and started a new venture. The remarkable man with his partners brought his dream and vision to life by putting the massive work involved in bringing this beautiful building back to mint condition, as well as embellish, clean, refurbish and polish it with much care. (By the way, one would not want to know what filth they eat under the last management at Full House as it was rotting prior to the 6 months work done on the place.) It is the buzz right now in all four corners of the globe. Africa, were most of the phenomenal ingredients you will ever reward your pallet with, is a centric location of the musical talent who will perform live (*must look up website for performer list as this is done on a monthly basis). They will also feature Canadian artists, musicians and 100% Canadian ingredients. In essence, this one-of-a-kind destination restaurant is where the most cultivated and refined from around the world, including joyful people who crave the best African and real Canadian fusion cuisine are served through out a memorable experience accompanied by the sounds of exceptional live musicians. It would be an honour to relish on such a culinary sensation and I know, because I've been blessed of being raised in the house of The Chef; he demands perfection and is a fine diamond of a cook! Once you taste the food and chill to the music, you will wonder how you could have ever settled for less. Formal dressing (portier at door), valet parking, an exquisite list of drinks at two different bars, a devoted multilingual team at your service, genuine artist decor, lounge in privacy or in company, flavourful and divine dishes prepared with the highest standards, hosted on two levels in a mellow and charming ambiance, melodies drifting you away and a captivating story to tell; this rare and sought after emplacement will replace your Casablanca nostalgias with a Fare Blend heave. (Grand opening end of 2012)"

"We had great service and very kind caring wait staff. The food was spot on, with thin pasta and seasoned to perfection without any over powering themes and reminded me of the food I had when in Italy. This place has a limited menu, but each item they have is one that they do with proper cooking and seasoning. The desserts are to die for and the price really was not bad. I definitely will go back there again and again. It is best to reserve ahead though as this gem has a great following and fill quickly."

"A friend of mine Introduced me to this restaurant. The chef here used to be a Chef in one of the big restaurants in China( sorry don't remember the name). The food is awesome no matter what you order. My recommendations are as follows 1....Stewed Fish and Chinese Cabbage with Chilli Sauce 2. Cumin spicy chicken/ lobster (if lobster season) 3. Stir Fry Yu Choy with Garlic"

"One of the best meals I had while in Ottawa. If you are seeking a talented chef among Canada's capital, come here. Walking in, it definitely feels like someone's home hosting a fancy banquet. The tequila infused salmon doesn't sound appealing, but it will be once you see it. Excellent plating, to the point where it almost feels like wimmelholden up close. The tequila offers a unique flavor to the fresh, and clearly vocal salmon flavor. All the little details stand out and uphold the dish, from the earthy radish, the jalapeño powder, down to the crunchy quinoa. The cream is the first chair solo violinist that truly makes everything pop. The only complaint I have is you have to consciously pick out all the ingredients on the fork for the full experience. It's quite easy to eat the piece lop sided, whether too much or too little or anything. The chicken éclair might as well be called the chicken éclair sandwich. I was envisioning a stuffed éclair, but it's much better as an open face sandwich with the top piece separate. The chicken was moist, still had some texture to chew on, and had a bold, sweet, low toned profile. The bread and butter pickles help cut through with some refreshing high notes. The dots of cream on the side didn't seem enough, but I still managed without a lot of cream. The éclair itself takes on a new perspective as A savory dish. It's something I'm surprised more chefs have adopted. Maybe it's the chili powder, but I couldn't help that bling this was an elevated sloppy joe. I still enjoyed this dish, but there's a tinge of nostalgia that lingers with every bite for me. The lamb shank is satisfying alone, but the addition of lime aioli and apple chutney make this a standout dish. The best way I can describe this dish is by thinking about the lamb, encapsulated by the chutney, and then encapsulated by the lime aioli. Perhaps the fat of the lamb conjures spherical worlds of flavor, orbiting around the gravitation of my tongue. Make sure you check the perimeter of the plate, as there are different levels of presence for the sauce. One pile is huge, while another is much smaller but not tucked under the meat. The spinach polenta block of whatever that was on the side was crap. The main spice stood out way too much. I took two bites and stopped eating it. The banoffee was a great dessert. But there are some things that I should mention. There isn't any toffee crunch in this and The whipped cream to filling ratio is 3:1. Otherwise, I was quite pleased with the results. Definitely, a European sweet dessert that's never too sweet. The banana is mixed in, but I can't help to feel it sits in the higher registry than the lower registry. The graham crust is delightfully chewy and gooey. The toffee provides most of the low tones in pudding filling form. Although the chocolate is a side counterpart in the profile, it does a surprising amount, dancing around the banana and toffee flavors. The whipped cream was good, but it could have been just a tad creamier in the taste profile. I love that they offer half orders on this pie. Even with some flaws, this place is still one of the best places to eat during my visit. Some other fancy establishments dont even come close to this place. from start to finish, there was not a single dish that was a dud."
