"Now that I see the lack of pictures on here I regret not photographing my Veggie Thai Curry but I was too busy eating it!I love this place. I've been here twice and will definitely be going back. The attention to detail is worth mentioning and there is a real good choice of dishes with a changing special that really was special. It may not be in the centre of the old town but it's on the way to the airport. If you want to get away from the touristy crowds, the endless schnitzels this is a really nice little restaurant where the locals go."

"How often does one get to eat in an ancient fortress? Very unique local. Unfortunately, the poor service, unfriendly staff, poor quality food, cold and damp atmosphere did not win me over. Best to eat outside the fortress then here."

"Visited this restaurant after reading reviews. When we arrived we looked outside to try and find table as no staff present to greet us. Passed by a Waiter and he did not acknowledge us, even though we said Hello. No seats outside so went inside to look, passed again by the same Waiter who again didn't acknowledge us, disgusted and left."

"We came here for dinner on a rainy Sunday in July. We made reservation a few weeks in advance, which we recommend. The cute chalet-style decor and ambiance felt extremely cozy, especially on a rainy evening. The tables are placed very close together, which is OK unless there's a big Austrian family gathering at the next table. The menu is a mix of Austrian and Balkan. We shared 2 mains: pork schnitzel with potatoes, mixed grill platter (chicken breast, cevapcici, pork fillet skewer, minced meat stuffed with goat cheese, cabbage roll) with rice and potato wedges. The pork schnitzel had a nice flavour, the grilled chicken breast was tender, and the tomato-paprika rice was delicious. Everything else was not good. The cevapcici (minced meat) was too salty, as was the goat cheese. The pork fillet tasted like liver. Even my husband, who is from the Balkans, did not like the mixed grill as much as he thought he would.Prices were fairly reasonable; mains cost between 12 and 18 EUR. Service was not great, which we found to be common in Austria. We had to flag down the servers to get the menu!"

"So, if you just landed or about to fly, this would be one restaurant I would definitely recommend for a mouth-watering Austrian delicacy. Be it in the afternoon with their Buffet (in their Market Place Restaurant) or in the evening with their À-la-carte (in Globetrotter Restaurant) the food is a must try here. They are all over the Salzburg Aiport - be it their Coffee Shop, their two restaurants on the first floor (one of which overlooks the flight landings) or their Terrace Restaurant (Dachterrasse) which is to die for, especially when the weather is good. I have also worked here in the past which is why I'm being able to tell the truth about this place and I'm not being partial at all since I have nothing to do with them as I don't work here anymore.I am a truthful reviewer who wants to help the travelers coming to Salzburg from across the globe.The food is really amazing, especially the Spare Ribs with potato wedges was delicious. And, the Cordon-Bleu which is more like Schnitzel (The Austrian speciality) but I find it much better than schnitzel as its cheesy, coated with some ham. It's yummy with the Preiselbeeren jam. Coming to the cost, it's an average as compared to other Austrian restaurants I have seen which are over-rated. The staff is quiet friendly and the atmosphere is generally very quiet kind of. These are the few things I have noticed and also experienced when visited as a guest. The restaurant is open from morning, probably 7 am but doesn't offer so much in breakfast. Their main concentration is lunch which jam packed coz of people from within the Airport dining in and during the dinner it's quiet peaceful and opened until 9 pm.I hope the review was helpful to the readers.
