"Although this is a BBQ place, but they really have one of the best Ribeye Steak in Texas. The steak is tasteful and juicy without putting any sauces. You order the steak through inches instead of ounces here. Really recommend ordering 2 ' '' steak and sharing with another person. My friends order 3/4' and 1/3' steak but my got the perfect medium. The fried onion and okra is also good. This place really recommend when you come from abilene."

"It was mixed for our meal. The catfish was lukewarm and bland but the shrimp were hot and flavorful. The coleslaw was not cold but tasted okay. Baked potatoes were ok, but the fries were awful. The hush puppies were either good or not. The tartar sauce was mayo and relish, not good. The shrimp cocktail sauce was like catsup. All of that and it was almost $90 for four of us and we were all drinking water. Not the kind of experience that will get me to come back here."

"I had high hopes for the beehive restaurant. Ultimately I was disappointed. We ordered the prime rib, medium well and it came out lukewarm. It's alot of meat and I'm sure some would love it. To me it was pretty bland and definitely not worth the price. The roll that came with it was hard as a rock. I will say my baked potato, salad, and spinach dip was great. The service was amazing, our waitress and all serving staff were awesome. The atmosphere not so much. You sit so close to other guests that you can't even hear the person you are with speaking. Overall I probably would recommend it to anyone who loves meat and hope to go back one day to try sometimes lighter like a hamburger or something. We shall see."

"This is a follow up review since I didn't write anything the first time I ate here. I love the place. Down to earth atmosphere. People at the front /register know their menu and are super friendly. The food is delicious. Generous servings. If you're ordering to go they have a great patio area (enclosed) to hang out while you wait.Definitely recommend you stop in and grab a bite."

"Food here was pretty good. Fries were not my favorite and the drinks were not strong but our other food was delicious. Loved the quail, Abilene steak, okra and sweet potato fried. Jalapeno poppers were delicious too. Our server Ashley was fabulous and friendly."
