"Our ordered dishes not only tasted excellent, but were also beautifully served, without using superfluous decoration elements. The standard menu is not very long, though there are several always changing dishes in offer, so that you can always try something new when you come again....There are no pizzas on the menu and we did not miss them at all. The portions are just the right size to enjoy the dinner, without regretting it afterwards for eating too much. The red wine recommended by the staff was also excellent and so were the deserts. At first, I was not very fascinated by the looks of the ambient inside, though it proved to be very cozy. If you are lucky enough to visit on a hot summer day, sitting outside in a secluded garden in park is even better. The staff was very attentive, and was really making sure that we feel comfortable and that our little wishes are all fulfilled. Even though we stayed just a bit longer in the evening, we never felt the pressure to leave, because the restaurant should close. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a good meal. Please vote helpful if you like the review."

"Was back with my daughter yesterday and had nothing to do with it. a very nice and friendly service. carving class and brat potatoes as well. I find the kartoffel quite with the old decoration and look forward to the summer in the beautiful and quiet beer garden."

"Went there for an early dinner during the Christmas market and we were able to walk in without a reservation. Don’t think you can do that after pm. The restaurant is very quaint, but not that big. The food was delicious, especially the crispy,...brown sausages! The sauerkraut was the BEST I’ve ever had, quite flavorful and not really tart, and the cream horseradish was zippy to say the least. I wasn’t overwhelmed with the potato salad, although my husband liked it, served cold with nothing in it but potatoes and some kind of sauce (not mayo and not what we call German potato salad in the US with bacon and a tart dressing). The server wasn’t the friendliest, but she was very busy. If you go there to try the little sausages, you won’t be disappointed!"

"Food is excellent and in the right quantity. I tasted here between the most good dolmadakias (not for vegetarians anyway) and a very good pork skewers served with potatoes, peppers and onions. Only don't ask for the wine of the house, it's mediocre."
