"I was at Clifton Suites having my blazer altered which would take about an hour, so I when for a walk around the Clifton Triangle when it started to pour down. So I popped in Bills for a coffee and a roll, whats nice surprise the staff were very attentive and showed me to a nice table where I ordered a very hot coffee, and a bacon and egg roll, the coffee was indeed very hot, but unfortunately I ended up with a sausage and egg roll, [I do not think English is high up on the job discription], but saying that the waitress spotted the mistake and offered to take the roll back and get a new roll and filling, as I was pressed for time I declined and departed. I would go back again after all we all make mistakes."

"Nice hotel, delicious food, very friendly and efficient service, we felt very welcome and comfortable! my only small criticism is that the menu has not had many Veggie options, but the kitchen was very friendly and became kreatiw with some next-courts, for which we were very grateful! one or two more creative Veggie dishes on the menu full time and this place would be perfect!"

"My husband and I visited Friday night. Although we were busy, we could get a table easy. The bar was well equipped, many local choices always a plus. Also a proper coffee machine. Dream. The menu was short, but had some really nice options, so we decided to share a few between us. The highlights were the famous steak for me and my husband loved the kimchi loaded potatoes. Yeah, unloaded pommes, loaded potatoes. Absolutely annoying. After we had such nice food, we could not taste the dessert menus we had with the Pecan pie and Croissant cake (with Custard). Honestly, the Croissant cake was probably the best I ever put in my mouth. We had this a few weeks ago and I've been thinking about it every day. My only reluctance to have it back would be if it just didn't miss it again. The best food I've had for a long time. Extra stars for the Croissant cake. I could write a whole review of this cake. "The starters were great bone marrow and Scallops . For mains, my wife had the 'Early Bird ' which was a good deal; 6oz rump steak, fries, a sauce/butter and a glass of wine or soft drink all for £20. However, my steak £34 just literally came on its own no salad, mushroom or tomato etc. . You have to buy everything additionally: Chips £6, butters/sauces £3.50/£4.50, mushrooms £5.50... The steak was ok/good, but not amazing. The chips are not chips, they are wedges; imagine taking a large potato and cutting it into quarters that 's their chips. I 'm not a fan of wedges, which isn 't the restaurants fault, but had they called them what they are, I wouldn 't have ordered them. I have no issue paying good money for good food when eating out, but my £34 steak quickly became a £50 meal with the additional items, and I didn 't feel it was worth anywhere near that. The staff were great and the service was good, so full marks on that."

"A family birthday dinner. Two of the regular menu and a gluten-free menu. The gluten-free pasta was a really small part compared to the other meals and the pasta was not cooked by. After it was sent back, it happened again. There is also a wine glass with lipstick. The staff was helpful and friendly, but the food wasn't on scratches."
