"Definitely the best coleslaw we have ever eaten. My whitefish was tasty and my Broasted chicken was juicy. My husband had an issue with his food, which is why I'm not giving 5 . "We stopped in here for my daddy's 88th birthday lunch. I searched maps for restaurants in the area and this one looked great and it was. I've been through Dayton hundreds of times and didn't know this was tucked in next to the lake. The atmosphere wasgreat. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the fried green beans!! We all got something different and it all was good.They had from sandwiches to steaks. Nice variety. It was a little chilly so we sat inside but they have outdoor seating as well.Very nice find. We will be back."

"Excellent. Had tried their bourbon chicken sandwich at a festival booth last year, and finally made it downtown to try it again. Just as good as I remembered. Got the bourbon chicken & cajun spuds and a side of cornbread. Spuds were very tasty, as was the chicken again. Cornbread wasn't much on it's own, not bad, just nothing special, but it was great to soak up the extra bourbon sauce, so I'd get it again. <br>

The place was pretty packed but they served our food relatively quickly while jugging lots of to go orders. Very friendly staff. The place itself isn't anything fancy, just a somewhat run down cafe kind of thing with very simple chairs and tables and an open kitchen.<br>

"Ohhh breakfast... one way to beat the cold weather mornings in the USA is a good hearty breakfast. Bob Evans is one of the reliable diners for that American Breakfast you want. Pancakes and Sausages plus their brewed coffee...Perfect! What I like most is that you always have choices for your condiments.. For the jams, you may have Strawberry, Orange... For the hotcakes, you can choose Maple, Lite Hotcake Syrup... For the Creamer, you can choose Hazelnut... Yummy! Will definitely be part of my checklist in going to the US.<br>
