"Had so many dishes from here and everyone was more amazing than the last. Had a coconut jackfruit and a papaya salad, tempeh summer rolls, tempeh skewers and vegan fried rice. The whole food was rich and amazing. The food was made fast and fresh. The only one was the Jackfruit was a bit salty, just on the bottom."

"Had a family member in town and we ate here. They were busy inside so we sat out on the patio, and it ended up being the perfect dinner! It was so nice to enjoy the fall weather and it was nice and quiet outside so we could catch up. The cocktail special was great and dinner dessert were absolutely devine! She had a steak and I had the meatloaf which is soooo good here. Our server was excellent as well."

"At least once a week.. I'd have to say this is my favorite restaurant in Harrisonburg. The reasons why are very simple: The food is delicious, affordable, and very generous in the portions.<br/ <br/ With that being said, however, I've only gone there for lunch. On that subject, though, their lunch menu is astounding. They often run daily specials, for example, all lunch specials are only $4.99 on Wednesdays and just $5.99 on Thursdays (with a drink on Thrusdays). The fact that you get lunch plus dinner later (as there's always pleanty to take home) makes it even more of a great value. <br/ <br/ Don't pass this place up. Hands down best Mexican food I've had in central Virginia."

"I found this little place during my vacation while visiting friends in the area, it was perfect! I am a new vegan and trying to learn the ins and outs, they still eat meat, and both options were offered! I can not say enough good thing about how awesome the waitstaff/owners (it is co-op) were! Polite, offered to explain anything on the menu, food was swift coming out of the kitchen and good! The buckwheat pancakes were so amazingly good! Real maple syrup was even offered!"

"My family has been coming here for years. Always loved Mr. J’s. Decreased in quality. Received bagels half of the size of the bagels from previous experiences. Spoke to someone and they stated “that’s just how they come” Disappointed!"
