"Good experience. When I went to France's dinner, I was greeted with a welcoming cigarette smoke. The owner of the house was very busy, but tried their best to accommodate us. Dinning twenty Berea college students at the same time is obviously a little hard. But her crew and herself worked the fastest to get our orders to supply us with drinks and so on. My body hurt from exhaustion and waited for dinner for more than half an hour made my day even worse. I guarantee that I smoked more than 90% today. I saw how breathless I could be with secondary smoke. In addition, the waiter forgot the dessert I ordered. I gave them up and decided to get out of this place. Clean air to breathe, quiet waitress and a little space for the seats would convince me to return. Luwam Okbazion"

"Last time I ate at Frances Diner is when they was at their original location, that was late 90's early 2000's before they moved. The food was great then and was amazing this time around. Came to Hazard to visit my father's hometown and Frances was the 1st place we stopped. I was in awww when I took the first bite of the biscuit and gravy, to know it still taste the same and they hadn't changed the recipe. My only complaint and if I could make a recommendation, consider adding a large portion of biscuits and gravy on the menu! (I didn't see it on the menu) Overall: Great Food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. I highly recommend Frances Diner!
