"As you can see by my other reviews, I am most often generous in my comments and ratings. In the case of La Lucila, I cannot find many positive things to say. Perhaps we went at a slow time on a Tuesday afternoon. We were invited to the spacious second floor where we shared the space with only a couple and their child. After a long wait, our order was taken, and after an even longer wait, our meals arrived. There were no snacks offered during the interminable waiting, and no visits from the waiter during our meal. The Chupe de Camarones was lukewarm on arrival, though tasty. One of us had an upset stomach later on in the evening. The restaurant is a few miles from the Plaza de Armas, requiring a taxi for 10 soles in each direction. I cannot recommend this restaurant based only on my personal experience."
