"I was on a river cruise, but after dinner decided to walk into town for a local flavor ... we were delighted with the atmosphere, staff, pleasant conversation, view ... it was an enchanting stop and in reviewing the menu, I wished we had enough time to savor all of it - although we had a sampler plate and it was extraordinary!"

"We went here to eat and the employees were all very rude. They did not make us feel welcome at all, took a very long time to bring us our food and even shouted at us. Though the food was all right, their treatment of us did not make it into a nice experience. Would not eat there again."

"An institution in Cologne-Zollstock is the Höninger. Reliable as for decades, you will be spoiled with good drinks and fresh food inside or in the smaller outdoor gastronomy. There are carving and rubbing cake days, but also the constant card awaits with solid and popular dishes. The service is attentive and fast, so a visit is definitely worth it if you are close by lunch or in the evening."

"Ich war dort 2 Mal zum Essen, das erstez Mal unangemeldet in der Außengastronomie,und das 2. Mal im Rahmen einer vorbestellten Geburtstagsfeiermit 7 Personen.Der schön gestaltete Außenbereich ist anheimelnd und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Obwohl die Personalsituation deutlich eingeschränkt war (lediglich eine Bedienung für innen und außen) kam das Essen zügig. Die Anrichtung der Speisen war nicht besonders ansprechend, aber geschmacklich war es in Ordnung. Mich hat gestört, dass zwar ein kleiner Teller mit Butter hingestellt wurde, es aber keinen Teller oder ein seperates Messer zum bestreichen gab. Man hätte die Brotscheibe mit dem Messer des Hauptgerichtes auf der Serviette bestreichen müssen.Daher war ich skeptisch wegen der Feier am 2.7.16. Aber hier gab es nichts zu beanstanden - im Gegenteil. Der Tisch in einem separierten Innenraum war sehr gepflegt und liebevoll eingedeckt, die hauseigene Sektmarke schmeckte vorzüglich!!! und die Bedienung war aufmerksam und liebenswürdig.Auch die Speisen waren geschmacklich gut bis sehr gut sowie dekorativ angerichtet.Die Portionen waren ganz überwiegend ausreichend groß, lediglich bei einer vegetarischen Variation mit frischem Marktgemüse war dieses relativ übersichtlich.Generell sieht die Speisekarte lediglich ein vegetarisches Hauptgericht vor. Auf unsere Bitte hin war aber das frische Marktgemüse mit Kartoffelgratin im Vorgespräch problemlos und bereitwillig mit in unsere Menüauswahl aufgenommen worden.Wir waren daher rundum zufrieden und werden gerne wieder kommen."

"Tang Wang is a generic Chinese restaurant, ie they don’t seem to follow any specific Chinese cuisine (like Cantonese or Sichuan) but have dishes from all over China . Nevertheless the dishes itself are quite authentic and well prepared probably the best in Cologne (competition being limited). It’s not a particularly charming place, interior is rather simple and it’s located right behind the central station (which doesn’t really matter as there is only indoor seating)"

"I had an asparagus run in the Klaaf with potatoes that were really 'old'. The run-up was unfortunately very dominated by cheese. The service was good and the place is very nice when the sun shines."
