"Being able to eat the food made by legendary chef Rudi Öxle with experience and expertise of over years in the kitchen is uncomparable! The cuisine is simple, traditional, tasty dishes of Southern Germany according to the season, ingredients are coming from the area....Big size portions, with refill of side dishes and sauces without asking. Great list of local wines and spirits, aperitifs and desserts. The service is quick, polite and attentive, no matter how full the restaurant and the chef always makes rounds to look after the guests personally! I can only recommend this!"

"In the ground floor it is a cozy little bar with good cocktails, a wide selection of beer, wein and spirits from the region bodensee. in summer they can sit outside in a historical tor. in the upper floor the lower door is a restaurant with seasonal changing menu. The...Menu is never overcrowded, so they can be sure everything is fresh. prices are more than fair compared to quality and atmosphere. the personal is friendly at any time, makes them welcome to the venue."

"Four of us decided to try Krone for dinner. The restaurant was large but Uncrowded which is not a good sign. The waiter would not help translate any of the local dishes for us. My German is poor and the others do not speak it at all. Luckily the manager came over and helped us, she was great.We all ordered local dishes and the food was good and served in very large portions. I recommend the worst, sliced potatoes, and sauerkraut. The apple strudel was served very hot with vanilla ice cream. After we ate the waiter was very friendly towards us and his English was very good.I might go back but only after I try other restaurants in town."
