"Elegant looking restaurant with white table cloths, serving expensive frozen, canned food. Pre-breaded chicken fried steak, the mushy green beans had to come from a can, the cook had to cut into my hamburger steak to check the temperature before they sent it out and it was still rare. Covered in canned gravy. The waitress was the best part of out experience."

"My wife and I splurged and had dinner at this lovely antebellum location. It's a bit like going back in time. Be sure to start with a cocktail in the bar. Ask for George. He's a wonderful waiter, quick on his feet, knowledgeable, and he has a delightful personality. Realize that you're going to pay a bit more than most places, but you're not just getting a meal: you're getting a timeless experience. My wife had the lamb lollipops and raved about them. My filet mignon was excellent. The warm pecan pie was decadent though it could have had less syrupy filling and more pecans LOL! There is a slight mustiness in the bar, but consider it part of the cost to go back in time! I had a Manhattan served up and others in the bar were having the classic Mint Julep. Everyone seemed to be having a nice time."

"Had breakfast here while visiting Natchez and it was great. Had Queens full breakfast which included eggs, sausage, hash browns and one of the most filling pancakes I 've ever eaten. Service was great (Queen herself waited on us) and pricing was very fair. Can 't go wrong here."

"Excellent dinner! The meal was delicious! Garden salad with house dressing was SO good. Spaghetti and meatballs were great. It’s a sweet sauce so you might not like it if you don’t like sweet red sauce but I LOVED it. Hubby enjoyed his flatbread. Creme Brûlée was large and great. Could use some berries on top. And the price was amazing! Will absolutely eat here again and highly recommend! Bryant was an amazing waiter!"

"It seems that kings tavern has a little relaxed from what I remember years ago from my previous visit. that means the relaxed atmosphere fits well. the food was good and she had a great cocktail menu. there are three local craft beer on tap also. it is definitiw a must when they visit natchez, woman."
