"This used to be one of my favourite brunch locations. I 've been coming here for many many years, and I brought friends over the years too. Sadly, I don 't think I 'll be eating here again. The way we were treated by staff last time I visited was not nice. I don 't know what the name of the waitress is, but she had pink hair. We arrived there early, so the restaurant was almost completely empty. The waitress treated us like she wasn 't happy to have us there and as if she had other customers to attend. I don 't really understand this, but perhaps she doesn 't like big groups. For example she rushed us to order food, and when we asked for a couple minutes she said, If another group arrives before you order, I 'm going to serve them instead. I don 't even know what that means..."

"2017/03/18<br/ St. James Gate is what I would imagine an Irish pub looks like. Maybe one of these days we will get to travel to the real St. James Gate and find out for ourselves. It was the night *after* the St. Patrick 's Day celebrations, and the pub was about half full. We got to pick our table, and we chose one of the few teaming booths. <br/ <br/ Of course on a weekend such as this, SWMBO started out with a pint of Guinness and then proceeded on to Fish Chips (1-pc). 8 ounces of light, flakey haddock in a crisp beer batter. The fries were fresh cut, skin on, well cooked. <br/ <br/ I started with a pint of Sommersby, after asking if the tap was fresh, and I was assured they were; light, a little sweet, and refreshing. After that I had the Royale Burger with Cheese. All of there burgers are in a section of their menu called 'Two Fisted Burgers '. My burger was definitely one of those. Two 4 ounce patties, stacked with havarti and cheddar slices, sauce, and pickles. It was one of those burgers that you could not put down after starting, for fear that it would fall apart on the plate. Juicy, savoury, tasty. Fortunately the server had already provided some wet naps, because I definitely needed one when I finished that burger. <br/ <br/ Our server was very good, checking in with us a few times during the meal. Nicely done."

"I used to come here when I lived in the beaches years ago and the new location is just as good. The bread and spreads are a welcome treat. The meal portions are abundant. I had the Mediteranean pork chops with mash potatoes and it comes with a side salad an excellent value!! I love the Green Eggplant! . Staff and service are super friendly."

"This place is always busy especially after a night out. There is always a lineup so be prepared to wait a bit before being seated. The service was great despite being so busy; their turnover rate is good so you’re not waiting too long. They had a new avocado sandwich special which I decided to try. The sandwich itself was good, although I was a bit disappointed with the veggies it was served with. Just a slice of cucumber and carrot with ranch sauce. Also wish they gave a little saucer with my tea so I can take the bag out so it’s not steeping for too long."

"You can view this episode on the wehungry.co website and check out our review<br/ <br/ What an amazing location to do a restaurant review, who would have ever thought you would be able to put an amazing place to eat viewing the whole of downtown Toronto!<br/ <br/ Well the Manulife building in mid town Toronto has what is truly a spectacular and unique experience to offer for you! Firstly getting to the building is real easy, its a simple walk up Yonge Street until you get to, Bloor and then you take a left and you really can 't miss it!<br/ <br/ However once entering the building we must of taken the long way, because we ended up walking for 5 minutes in the building to find the actual entrance to the restaurant. However once their, a massive sign appears above saying '180 ' then a menu and then of course the elevator to get you to the top!<br/ <br/ Going up 50 floors I thought would be a piece of cake, but the ears did pop several times. However when you enter your greeted by the hostess and then given a table. We literally got shown our table and then we straight away went out side to get a glimpse of the amazing view. It was breathtaking!<br/ <br/ Ordering didn 't take too long, and we received our food quite promptly, the pizza was so awesome how it was presented, and I got scissors to cut it as well which was a new thing.<br/ <br/ The pizza itself was really good, and the experience was a really positive one, I would highly recommend anyone going to Toronto or who lives in Toronto, if they wanted to dine at a special place, this is a must!<br/ <br/ Review<br/ <br/ Food 4<br/ Service 4.5<br/ Atmosphere 4<br/ Price 3"
