"My wife and I went here for the "Special", fish and chips and we were not disappointed. The food was very tasty, the service prompt and friendly, the premises clean and judging by the number of "regulars" who came in while we were there, they get a lot of repeat business. Next time we are in the area, they'll get ours."

"This particular location of Sunset Grill needs to reduce the number of tables they have or hire more staff. Both would be ideal. The kitchen simply cannot handle the number of customers they are currently set up to seat.My meal this morning took 35 minutes to prepare, after having waited 10-15 minutes to have my order taken. Tables sat waiting to be cleared while more customers queued at the door. Dirty plates and cups piled into trays and left forgotten (temporarily) on ledges.To be clear, I do not hold this against the staff whatsoever. They are charming and pleasant and absolutely helpful whenever they can come by, the issue stems from not having enough time to divide between the mountain of guests they have to serve!The good news is the quality of the food was no different from any other locations of the chain. I travel around the province for work and have frequently been a customer wherever I go.I am glad they aren't trying to cut corners on their food but for the sake of their staff members I hope the owners take initiative to prevent the workload being so overwhelming going forward."

"I love Greek and it's pretty hard to screw it up if it's from a Greek place so I'd say it's pretty decent. A bit expensive for take out but maybe average if you're eating in."

"After driving around Oshawa late on New Years Eve looking for a place that was open and served food without a cover we happened upon My Place. Sign in the window advertised Souvlaki dinner for $ 10.00 - pork or chicken. Small neighborhood bar with open grill when you walk in. Very friendly staff (Jimmy & Christina). With it being New Years Eve there was a more festive atmosphere than on a subsequent visit. Then came the food. It was fantastic. The size of the platter per person was amazing. There was a large amount of tender, juicy, grilled meat along with a large greek style salad, pita, rice pilaf, greek potatoes, and tzatziki. Unable to finish everything. Thought maybe it was because of New Years but returned the following week before leaving Oshawa and had the same meal again. Received even a bigger portion for the same price. Definitely our best meals during our stay.Note: They do not take credit or debit cards. Very popular for takeout."
