"Had the brisket sandwich with optional Slav. it's one of the best I had at BBQ joints. the maisbrot was cake-like, very fine and sweet. like most maisbrot, and was on my family. the makkaroni and cheese side was good except she had too much heat. I like to taste pasta and cheese. good sweet tea (and they are far south enough they can only ask for tee)."

"Man! This was an ingenious food stop and I will come back soon! I had added a burger combo with chili and in-law (cost extra) and my treasure had a fish plate with cabbage and Mac and cheese my lord!! Oh and the burger is not just a burger, you can say that is handmade, seasoned for perfection and not from a food-processed box. Great tasting and again I will be back soon!"

"The lighthouse is still a nice culinary experience. I brought my mom to the birthday. they have updated the decor since I am there. it is beautiful and remains a sea theme, but the carpet is gone and the restaurant is somewhat more open. I feel like without the carpet the restaurant feels cooler (so take a pullover). the menu has changed a bit and the dinges are a bit more expensive, but it is still worth the money. I have the Wels dinner with two pages. 2 fried filets, baked carrots and green beans. and of course their delicious hush puppies."

"Definitely not returning. Basically, the restaurants are passed down from family to family and just when you try to get used to the way things are done and made, there are strangers who don’t have the same work ethic and the quality of food changes. Yet , there will be 8 people in there hanging out and still things are not right"

"Love the atmosphere at City Table! The building is unique and the decor matches it perfectly. We enjoyed everything we had wine, bread, sampler, salmon, burger, baked potato, mashed potatoes, asparagus. The only thing missing was beer, which is not offered. Our server Ty was great, very personable, attentive and patient. We will definitely visit City Table again."
