"I am so thrilled I have tested this new place to eat. The furniture is very simple, so is the decoration. But the point is what is in your plate. I chose the "menu carte blanche" so it was very nice to get surprised once the dishes came on table. The entrée was very elegant, full of flavors (raw salmon.) The cod was very well cooked. The main dish was a little bit disappointing (poultry with a mashed potatoes over salted with truffle without flavor).I told it to the nice staff and the chef offered us a second dessert. After the successful chocolate (choco crumble with white coffee ice cream), we could try the lemon pie : the curd was tasty and creamy : the perfect balance between the sugar and the acidity. Congratulations to the chef. I would like to thank waitress and the sommelier, because they did not push us to spend more in wine, their advice was fair, and I appreciate that."

"Went there for dinner during one business trip in Strasbourg. This place is located 30-35 mins from the downtown but it's definitively worth paying a visit. They serve typical French and Alsatian food with very generous portions: I went for the cordon blue pané and I think I've got something like 400 grams of veal steak stuffed with ham and cheese plus lovely crunchy fries and tasty green beans. Finished with a nice creme brulee. The place serves the (local) fischer beer and I went for the Ambreé which was excellent. Overall the prices are the same as those of the restaurants in the city centre if not cheaper but for what you get I'd highly recommend this place. I think you'd be better off booking a table as the place gets quite packed especially during weekend (I went on Friday night and only because I was alone I could find a small table). Finally, also the staff is very nice, friendly and even though they dont speak English, they made their best to communicate with me."

"Since the change of owner, it has become a super nice restaurant that offers only homemade dishes, even desserts and bread are homemade! I went there a noon with family and it was very good, I ate a super sauerkraut in the dish of the day at 9€ just delicious. the reception and the super pleasant service, the boss is very attentive and very pleasant his change of some restaurants .bref an excellent address!"

"My friend and I discovered this hidden restaurant near our hotel on the outskirts of Strasbourg. We were blown away how fantastic our meals were. Not only our veal balls and chicken corin Bleu amazing, but all meals, the other people... looked incredible. The service was very welcoming, especially the young waitress. The meal was so good that we went back for our second night in Strasbourg. I would even travel from Paris for the day to eat only here! The portions are huge, so make sure you come here on an empty stomach. By far the best restaurant I've ever been in my life."
