"Some of my party had just come from China. In China the Pizza had tended to be small. So for a group of N people we ordered N pizza. We had found that Ushuaia is not a cheap place to stay so with the Pizza at UK prices we sat back and waited.We were very hungry. We drank some excellent beer. We got even hungrier. We were just about to ask 'where 'd' pizza' when they finally arrived. We were very hungry. We began to eat.I was merely 1/3 through my pizza and I said "Expletive horrid place" I'm nearly full.My companions said "whats the local term for a doggy bag". I managed to make it half way through my pizza before I, gluttony personified, gave up and decided to ask in broken Spanish "Could we have the rest as a take away please?" That pizza was, in comic hippy, 'heavy' man and not yardi-boy harder dan'hard or heavier dan' lead. It also tasted good, really good. None of your almost insubstantial 'rome style pizza' with a skinny crisp base. This was a rugby prop forward of a pizza and it was delicious. The cheese topping was thick and reminded me of welsh rarebit, made without mustard and Worcester Sauce, for a cheese freak. We spent days trawling the internet and discussing recipes for welsh rarebit. The surplus pizza provided the main part of lunch for the next two days. Then we threw the last three slices away. They had promised to feed us on the bus to Sandy Point. We wept for our abandoned pizza on that bus journey.The bus company provided us with porkie pies ... rhyming slang not the real thing ... a bag of junk and not a mealFor a light evening meal one pizza between three could suffice and two pizzas would fill the hungry.Beer and Pizza ... sums the place up."

"Excellent place! very rich food! tremendous sight and very nice decoration, the first boy who attended us very well and very attentive, we changed from table to be next to the window and attended us an older man and did not get our attention at all, avoid being looked at by him and they will spend it great"

"Tried many cheap eateries in town, this was the worst. The lomo sandwich I had was not edible. And then you can call exactly cheap a sandwich that costs more than 10usd. There are other places in town to eat on a budget and still survive the experience. ;)"

"Based on reviews, I was expecting a spectacular meal for our last night in Ushuaia. Instead, food was average and service was terrible. Our waitress seemed scattered and would walk away while my husband was speaking to her. We watched as people seated after us...were served drinks, three courses and were out the door a good minutes before we managed to finish, due to the inattentiveness of our waitress. Once our orders were placed, we were informed they were out of the fish of the day and we were offered a silver fish It was not good, whatever it was. Crab was average, pumpkin salad was flavorless. Steak chimichurri was good. Lamb stew was mostly lamb and average."

"Advertised as the cheapest restaurant in Ushuaia. Lot's of local people come here for lunch the food is quite good and the prices are OK. The salads could be better but there are not a lot of fresh vegetables in Ushuaia. Service could be better of course but is still OK."

"This place was the best meal I had in two months of travelling through Chile and Argentina!! Sure, its a little pricey but get the tasting menu (5 courses) and sit back and enjoy some of the best seafood around. The chef walks around and introduces himself to everyone who eats there, a great touch that I was surprised and delighted with. All in all, even if its a little out of your price range, try as hard as you can to have dinner here. You won't regret it!!"

"Fui en febrero 2017. Anteriormente estuve aquí hace 4 años festejando mis 40 años. El lugar es excelente, la comida abundante, no es barato, tampoco muy caro, pero vale la pena. comer un buen plato, tomar un buen vino, que te sirvan tan servicialmente y disfrutar un anochecer frente al canal Beagle es insuperable. Volveré sin dudas"
