"This is the sort of bar/restaurant that you can sit down with a drink and watch the people as they walk around the City. The plan was just to have 2 Blanche beers and then leave. However, after arriving at 11:30 we noticed how busy it was getting with locals tourists. We then decided to order lunch, which was a main salad meal. My other half had salad of pate, sliced ham, dried sausage salad and chips. I had auvergne salad which was local cheese, fried lardons and salad. Both meals came with bread. The food was good but basic. Don't except pure rustic French food. However, the owner, a Chinese chap was really, really nice. Try to spend some time talking to him as he is really friendly. We ended getting a free digestive drink : a Verveine du Puy, which is a local alcoholic beverage. Recommend the place to sit and watch the world or have a spot of lunch."

"Cantine qui fait honte à sa chaîne. ..responsable (manager ???) plus rapide à encaisser qu à faire servir les clients. Nous avons entendu 10 mn pour 12"chips(mon fils de 7 ans à fini par les réclamer. ..),pourtant nous étions installés à côté de leur pose - plat. Puis on nous a tout simplement oublié. ..il est vrai qu une brochette de poulet,des croustilles de poulet ( visuel et qualité ignobles) ainsi qu une entrecôte de 330 g passent inaperçues dans ce boui-boui.Quand nous avons réclamé notre plat, le manager s est précipité en cuisine et est revenu avec deux plats sur trois (du réchauffé. ..et carbonisé ) mais l entrecôte est arrivée 6 mn plus tard , bleue pour du saignant demandé. Je pense que le cuistot devrait commencer par prendre quelques cours de cuisine et le manager de. ...management ? ???...Si vous avez faim et envie de passer un bon moment, passez votre chemin et continuez juste un peu plus haut."

"We loved this little restaurant which we came across en route from visiting the cathedral. It was full downstairs so we climbed up to the first floor, charmed by the very French decor. Two of us had chicken breast with a delicious sauce of chopped tomatoes and aubergine and the other two had boudin noir (French version of black pudding) with apple and mashed potato, all served by our friendly waitress, Thoroughly recommended!"
