"Our son was missing pasta after several days of tasty Portuguese cuisine so we reserved here. The menu, including craft beer seemed to warrant the good reviews. Just lovely food and friendly service. Our waiter was really helpful and spoke great English. We had very fine starters cheese and ham etc but the star was the pasta. My wife and I had ravioli mine octopus, hers prawn both so tasty and fresh. Our son is autistic and likes simple garlic bread and pasta with no parmesan we requested but his cane with lots if cheese. We tried to suggest he mix it in, but with no complaint the restaurant cooked a new plate up in less than 10 min. Happy son. Less stressed parents. Really lovely place. It was our last night in Tavera else we would return. The pizza looked great too with some rich options. Both craft beer tried very good. Highly recommended."

"Only can comment on drinks, did not have any food. Popular with the locals, especially the mechanics from the garage next door! Friendly service, very clean facilities. What is not to like. Good stop off for a few drinks on the way to a restaurant or if not so hungry, there is a snacks menu. Opens late. Ticks a lot of boxes."

"My friends and I were looking for a lunch spot and happened to walk past this quaint little restaurant. The staff were all super friendly, incredibly attentive and even taught us some portuguese. My friends loved their prawn starter! The mains were okay... Nothing overly exciting... Maybe they could add some more flavours to their dishes to give them a more wow factor."

"My husband and I were there yesterday for lunch... we were conned.... ordered Shellfish Cataplana while we were waiting for it to be cooked a little bowl of clams arrived on our table we did think it a bit odd but thought it came with the main... o no when the bill arrived they charged 27.50 euro for the Cataplana and 14 euro for the Clams!! We asked the waiter why this extra charge as we had not ordered this he couldn’t care less just want his 59.50 euro! He is a conman he knew exactly what he did and to make matters worse the food was not that great! We will never go there again don’t mind paying but hate being cheated!!!"
