"From what I have seen you do not soak your calamari it's tough as hell, soak in milk for 24 hours, then prepare it. Very salty chips also too salty and I like salt! Use different salt or less of it.... The batter itself was great the chips were nice but... Dam... Salty."

"We're staying in Cowes for 10 nights. We felt like a Chinese takeaway last night, so had sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein, and "special" fried rice, shared between three of us. It was really nice.Tonight we felt like a quick takeaway meal and decided to have sweet and sour pork and the special rice again. It was just as tasty as last night.Both nights were very quick service (although we were there early and they commented that they weren't busy yet). Very friendly lady who took our orders.Both nights we were able to park right outside the restaurant.Note the "special" rice is combination fried rice. We asked for it without prawns, but it still had egg, pork, peas and a couple of other things in it - for a light meal you could easily have just this rice."
