"The people who are running this place need to uplift their service standards or higher better more experienced staff than just kids. I visited the Hotel during the Mourne Festival . It’s our first time . Me and My partner had a Bar Meal as they had no spaces in the restaurant because of being fully booked. That made me think oh wow , good must be great. The elderly blonde lady who told the poor young girl and shouted at her that she doesn’t have any tables upstairs was quiet cut throat to be honest . While we were almost right behind -following the young girl upstairs, who took us to the restaurant. It was not the case of let me see what I can do or what not . It was straight and simple if you haven’t got a table booked I’m afraid we can’t accommodate you upstairs . However at this point the staff below shouted we have a table free now , so in end we settled for table downstairs in the Bar. The ambience downstairs wasn’t a pleasant one , kids running everywhere , lots of shouting and drinks were called from the floor to the bar . It was like sitting in a fish market. More control of the bookings would have resulted in better service. I ordered a simple burger, what I got looked like a frozen pre-fab patty that was just thrown on the grill for a few minutes and had two raw pieces of bacon on it with nothing else added. My wife ordered a chicken curry which was bland and cold when served. I paid something like 2.80 pounds for a diet coke which came in a small glass and tasted flat like it had been poored from an already open bottle. We did pointed our food issues to one of the young lads to which his response was I’m only bringing food from upstairs . I cannot do anything I’m afraid but I will let someone know. That took long enough , and no one arrived to check if we were okay . At last we decided to just finish whatever was edible and just leave . Sadly before going in , I was starting to search for it on my phone to look at review when we impulsively just decided it would be fine and went in. If you are seeing this before you go (actually don't go) please do your own research. It was a chaos restaurant dinner in my opinion. Not what I wanted for a weekend date night . I’m sorry but this was poor ."

"It’s been a few years since I got food here and at the time it was terrible. Someone I trust encouraged me to give it a try and this was a few weeks ago so I got one dish. We’ve gone there three times in the last month as the food is so good. Still not as good as Red Panda and a few other places in Belfast but darn good locally. I don’t know any other Chinese takeaway in the city that comes close to this place as over the years I’ve seen prices increase year on year with quality nose diving. It may be a change in staff here I don’t know but there’s only one thing they need to do now their prawn crackers are the cheaper product. They just need to improve the quality of these but I wouldn’t mark them down for this."

"Had Sunday lunch last week here. We sat upstairs looking out over the Lough.The hotel was quiet which worried me slightly.Thinking why could this be!!! Truly this Hotel should be buzzing because the food, flavour and presentation was amazing and the potions were huge.Great value for money.The service was great and I couldn't of faulted a thing.Nothing is too much for the chefs..Get yourself down to this Hotel and its beautiful setting on the front shore.A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.You won't be dissappointed."

"Had a lovely meal here on a surprisingly busy Monday night. We were able to sit outside which we loved. They don't have a drinks licence but you can bring your own and ASDA is a 5 min walk away. I had a wonderful crab claw starter, my husband had potato skins which was just ok. I then wanted scampi but it was all finished which was disappointing. Instead, I had honey chilli chicken which was tasty and my husband had great fish and chips. Bill was only £28. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful."

"We dropped in by chance without a reservation early eve/late afternoon and staff were extremely accommodating. It was our first time here, the server explained it was based on a tapas style but you could order a large dish if you wanted instead of the small dishes. Everything was perfect, probably one of the best meals we’ve had. There were so many delicious options that we picked 5 small dishes, they were quite substantial so could clear the plate of salt pepper calamari. We had the funky spuds with cheese and garlic (like Patatas Bravas but far nicer), prawn pil pil, spicy chicken wings and meatballs with linguini. Each dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavour. There’s a great drinks and cocktail menu, we were too full to try dessert but judging by everything else I’m sure they’d be gorgeous too. The restaurant is lovely, atmospheric and cosy, the ideal balance. Can’t wait to try this again, maybe reserve a table for later in the evening."

"I have lived and dined in Newry since 2006. Living by the mantra of toy only live once l dine out on an average of twice a week. I can honestly say Blue Print has never failed to disappoint. The choice and quality of food is excellent. While aimed at families it cleverly retains a restaurant quality. Pizza prices are extremely competitive. Believe me when l say you will look forward to a return visit"

"I have seen some bad reviews here and can't move around them. eating is so fresh and authenticity thai. it is a bit more expensive than the Chinese, etc. but there is no comparison. we eat here at least every night and the standard never falls."
