"Just off the bus from Georgian Bay in the horrific traffic, Jamie's is a little oasis and was a great choice. I had lunch with my friend who had battled the 401 and it was a pleasant respite.We had planks of antipasto, olives and a bottle of red. The service was excellent, especially the waitress who was so friendly and helpfulI certainly enjoyed it and would most likely return if I return to Toronto"

"Excellent experience. Beautiful food. Exceptional wine. Come back when I can afford it. Worth the money, but must be a very special occasion. Best pasta I had. At first I was disappointed that the prawn feticinni was not a white sauce, but the tomatoes were so tender and perfectly seasoned that I could not regret the choice. Good evening. The perfect evening would have been if my wife could accompany me. (as long as they were not allowed to see the prices)."

"My partner had been here before but I wanted to try it for it’s convenient location at Bayview Shopping Mall. It’s a clean QUIET it was when we’re there but we went past prime lunch time for dim sum) we ordered from the menu but I k no prices that prices for the dish sizes were not advertised in the menu. A bit worrying but we didn’t think to ask. The dishes that came were nice but not over the top for the pricing when we got the bill. The sticky rice was ok but hardly had anything in it. The best thing was the taro cups with pork and diced scallop, it was unusual and delectable but was so small it disappeared quickly. Only two to the order. We also had prawn and pork sui mai pretty standard fare. Also some sort of water chestnut dessert which came as gelled cubes with chopped bits of water chestnuts that added a slight crunch and not too sweet. I appreciated the calm clean and quiet ambiance. That was the main take away for me. But we ordered the 4 modest dishes and there was barely enough food to feed us. with tip for two it was $65.00 won’t go back as it wasn’t good enough value for menu and the only spectacular but was the taro cups. You can see how small they were from the photo."
