"Went for lunch one Sunday. There is two entries. One via the main door and one through the Information centre.<br/ <br/ The service was rather opportunistic but the tables were cleaned regularly. It was warm inside, but probably freezing outside. The view is okay.<br/ <br/ We had a coffee and an iced coffee which were okay but I think they got the order a little confused, so get them to read it back, especially if you make an alteration. <br/ <br/ The food was good, though the House Made Baked Beans with Chorizo was a little spot the Chorizo! The pancakes with chocolate, pear and hazelnuts were reported as being good, and they seemed to be fluffy. The food was fine, on a par with other places in Warrnambool and the area is nicer than some of the competition, so I would go back to Pippies over some of the other cafes."

"Many options have already made vegan or slightly vegan and there were practically any type of food on the menu. the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. had a nice smoothie and rainbow stir fry. the portion size was perfect and tahini dressing was devine! would like to go back to explore more about the menu."

"We booked a table here. When we arrived we weren't greeted by anyone we had to ask someone to help us although 2 girls saw we had entered. We were seated. My partner ordered the rib eye and I a schnitzel with garlic prawn sauce....The steak came out and my partner was extremely happy! He is quite fussy with his steak but he said apart from the ones he cooks at home this would have to be the best steak he's ever had. I was also impressed with my meal. The taste and quantity was great! Apart from the service not being great the food was amazing, will be returning!"

"First time booked into the hotel and immediately the staff at front desk gave a really good impression and advised a new dinner menu was on the go from tonnight.after prognosticating for a while after going for a run around the beach I decided to give the restaurant a go.I went the $45 2 course deal that included a drink of choice - ordered the calamari for entree but then changed to stuffed mashies , and Salmon for main. The waiting staff ( 2 young girls were outstanding) quickly got my drink , soon followed by the clalamari I first ordered , I advised the waiting staff not to worry but they and the chief insisted I have the mashies as well ( on the house) . the calamari was lightly battered and nicely cooked , the mashies were outstanding. my main of salmon equally good with chat spuds and brocolini. Finished off with a cab/merlot ( a bit expensive at $11 per glass but very nice).A very nice surprise at this great venue at super value near the beach - will definitely come back."
