"We spent nearly $80 on takeaway for two adults and two children. The kids' meal was fine with nice small pieces of fish and fresh chips. The adults had ling that was dry, tasteless and definitely not fresh. Chips were soggy and looked like they had been the dregs from the fryer. Scallops and prawns were also soggy/mushy and we couldn't finish our meal. After spending that much we were sorely disappointed!! Unfortunately this place has really declined over the past few years. We will not be back. Such a shame as there are so few places on the eastern shore to get decent fish and chips - the Fish Bar is now permanently barred!"

"Having not been able to get out of Bellerive after the AFL on Saturday, we made our way to the Golden Junk to let the traffic clear and grab a cab a bit later on.Eight of us arrived unannounced and were warmly welcomed by Regina and her team.We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service. Regina is great fun, the food is excellent and the restaurant and amenities are clean.This was an accidental find but we are really happy we stumbled across it. It was a welcome respite after a long day at the footy and the frustration of transport hassles. Thanks Regina, we loved spending an accidental evening with you."

"Fresh fish and a great coffee Very friendly staff with a high class customer service. The food quality was very good, the atmosphere was great, the whole thing is floating on the water, so sometimes you will feel your ground is moving, makes it feel more exciting. I would highly recommend this place"

"Mutter paneer : RECOMMENDED- love this item, fully loaded with cheese and adequate amount of onion over it. I was expecting it to a bit spicy, but this was perfect. Samosa chaat: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- its popular Indian street food. tangy, spicy Samosa with chickpeas and dollops of yogurt and chutney is my favorite ways to enjoy samosa! I really miss the taste of street food in Hobart but when I tried this, I found its awesome. Service: Delivery"
