"My Taiwanese friend brought us to this place, mentioning it's a traditional one. The venue was comfortable and clean. Staff were customer-focussed. Service was fast and efficient. We managed to order 6 dishes:
1. Ma Po Tofu-the best we had ever had so far
2. Stir fried Gailan-bland and a little over cooked
3. Chicken Soup with bitter gourd and pineapple - the soup was tasty but would have more flavour if cooked longer until the chicken was tender and the bitter melons were softened
4. Drunken chicken - nice chilli flavour with great aroma of garlic, ginger and sweet basil
5. Salt and garlic fried prawns - good size prawns and perfectly cooked but not much flavour
6. Taiwan style braised pork knuckle - everyone but not me loved it since I wasn't a fan of skin and fatty meat

Gosh so much food and fun. Great companies made dinner tastier!"

"So sad visited for Dim Sum many times and been really happy. Dinner however either has different cooks or rules for supply. Our Gai Laan veggies were yellow or just not fresh. Our egg plant hot pot had no flavour whatsoever. We ordered pan fried bean curd and were served deep fried. As for the black pepper pork steaks well beef arrived we questioned this and were offered a replacement but declined as it would have meant a long wait. As an apology we offered a free soft drink which we declined. Will not visit again for dinner."

"This ice cream new for a quick lunch on the other day. there was again a slight price adjustment. Of course, the winton soup was my a-must for the low kohlendiät. portion and taste remained constant and just like the broth. still an attractive factor for my return business. previous rating: 4/5 dec 2021; 5/5 april 2020"

"This is our go to place for Malaysian cuisine on the south side now. If you feel like some Asian street food, this is the place to be.Their Penang Kuey Teow is one of the best Kuey Teow I've had. You can choose how spicy you want the dish to be, which is really important. I always order mine as medium hot, as I think this gives the noodles enough kick while not being overpoweringly hot to the point that you can't taste any other flavour. One of the best things I love about their kuey teow is the temperature they serve it in. Every time we eat there it's always really hot, as if you are eating off the wok. You can also tell from the fragrance and taste that the food was fried at a hot enough temperature. While everything is served hot, nothing ever tastes overcooked. Bean sprouts are always crispy. Noodles never stick together. They really know how to do their stir-frys! Another dish I also like to order (mostly in the evenings or on a cool day) is their Penang Har Mee, which is prawn noodle soup. The broth is full of flavour and together with the noodles is the ultimate comfort food in winter. If you love prawn, you will enjoy this.Their roti is also something I'd recommend if you like Malaysian curry. However, it may not be filling enough for some as the serving size is not that big. The curry sauce is delicious and if you have some leftover, they go really well with any leftover rice as a second meal lolCounter service. Alfresco dining (street food). The only inconvenience with this place is they only take cash (like a lot of Asian restaurants here). So make sure you have enough cash before you visit."

"On Friday we went there at 1 o'clock as they promote that they are now open on Friday for lunch. but we could not eat there as they had to close. deorganized? very disappointed. the personal also showed a very bad customer service. we were wondering what happened in the restaurant. some employees saw us, but we were ignored. Finally we asked a female staff for a table for 4 people. however, she pointed out the closed sign at the door and said that they were closed as if we could not read/see it."

"Tonight after tobaki. we've known this place for a few time. there was a good choice of meat and fed and cooked. the chicken wings were great! as good as any of the specialized chicken joints. The...staff are really efficient in changing their hot plates, which is great as it significantly reduces the smoke that is generated. as much as ever. love this place and under $30 it remains amazingly worth it."
