"Ordered a home delivery for my dad's birthday. Mixed grill £17.95 consisting of 5 pieces of over cooked dry meat. This was supposed to be for 2. Salad was a small plastic bag of lettuce, quater of a tomato and I slice of cucumber. 2 chicken tikka masalas were a pot of sauce with 4 bits of chewy chicken in one and 5 bits in the other. Onion bhaji' were the thinnest greasyiest I've ever seen. Phoned up to ask if there had been a mistake with the mixed grill as so small. After a long discussion and explaining we were told well we didn't pay 17.95 for it as there was a discount. No apology nothing to compensate it just wasn't for 2 people despite the quality of it. Go somewhere else would be my advise!"

"Visited the smokehouse today and managed to get a table despite the fact that it was crazy busy! the personal was wonderful, very welcoming and helpful and despite the whole house attentive and eating was his usual excellent standard. we always have a great time when we come here and today there was no exception. thanks to all in the smokehouse!"
