"Phenomenal cuisine with a simple concept everything is made from scratch. A revelation in the local Cambridgeshire food scene. By far one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.. especially post covid. Chef Gael is a passionate cook and you can tell by every plate presented. We were fortunate enough to have the tasting menu and because chef Gael gets fresh produce we didn’t know what will be on the menu until that evening. Speaking as a foodie and chef myself, it is a delight being served course after course of food the chef creates with classic French culinary traditions. We could tell that there was no compromise in what we ate. I can’t help but be angered by older reviews. Seems like people who added those reviews were being very petty."

"I wanted a quick dinner so popped in and ordered grilled pork dumplings and stir fried pak Choi. Stunned to find they only accept cash, there should be a sign on the door clearly stating this. When I opened the packets, the dumplings were clearly BOILED not grilled, and the „pak Choi“ was not the dark green one that we know from the supermarket but white Chinese cabbage (hakusai) or just English white cabbage. I took it back to ask if they had given me the wrong order and she said the word pak Choi is the Chinese word for that white one.!!!! I took it, but won’t be going there again as I can’t be sure that what is advertised is what I will get. Menu looks good, but it’s not what you think!!"

"Always seems to be closed even though the website says it’s open, we’ve been 3 times in the last week and it’s been locked up each time. Very disappointing, especially over the bank holiday weekend."

"I had thought about the bun and was seriously impressed by the quality of the plump chicken breast. the meat was tender and moist, supplemented by a large roasted carrot and cartoffel with a lauch and ducketts caerphilly cheese. the creamy sauce with full-grained scab went with the chicken and sweet really well. we ordered a fresh mixed salad as a side order and it was great enough that we could both share. the dessert menu was to tantalize to go up and we were glad that we did not say that the desserts were spectacular to put it mild. they were almost too nice to eat!"
