Amazing food , lovely family restaurant and we always come back. But if you could just speed up the service. We were in for 2 1/4 hours. You need to perhaps do a wee bit of staff training on managing order taking and timing and we just got left waiting a lot for drinks to come mid meal and desert orders to be taken. We have visited la Pergola over the past seven or eight years it has always been an authentic corner of Italy. The food is excellent and consistent, and the service is prompt and cheerful.
As a family we enjoyed a lovely meal, which was good value. The staff were very amenable and efficient. All round a lovely restaurant with a lot to offer.
Was expecting better food from previous comments and from what I had heard. The food was just ok, a bit disappointing.
