"Benares it certainly isn’t. Food was luke warm, plates were cold. No ambience. A screaming out of control child made the first 5 minutes unbearably noisy so much so that we very nearly walked out. The sewage smell in the basement level was unpleasant. We were not made to feel valued or special. The visit was to celebrate my husbands birthday which I put on the booking notes however in the speed to get us to leave the staff overlooked this and as we were putting on our coats a small gesture of a cake was presented to the table!! Very limited time to choose our food. Our booking was 2.30pm (we were very prompt) and were told as we were choosing we only had until 2.45pm to give the order as kitchen was closing really!!!!!!!"

"Today we have a small family celebration in pimlico tandoori. the staff were fantastic and were very helpful throughout. Special thanks to the kitchen staff who served delicious food. I ordered the hunch korma, simple rice and peshwari naan. excellent! will come back with friends and farewell from this place order"

"It is always interesting to taste something different from a country. There are the usual meals but more importantly some more specific from Goa... and they were all great. As well as the cocktails that do not appear on the website. Finally, the waiters were nice and do care about us and the evening was really nice there... We will definitively go back."

"Most Indian restaurants in Richmond offer good service but I would say the service here is much better. The food in my opinion was really excellent, very Indian without being too spicy (I do not like it too spicy), portions were pretty good as well. Prices were good and ambience was excellent. Definitely worth going to."

"The onion bhaji was like biting in to straw, the madras is full of thick paste, which gave me indigestion, i looked outside and they are putting all there waste down the storm drains, they have been flooded twice, last time they flooded they opened back up next day, they should of done a proper hygiene clean before opening back up, they only score 2 stars on hygiene, a lot of room for improvement."

"We popped in for a quick lunch on a weekend and it was surprisingly empty they are apparently busier during dinner so I've been told... We ordered the Plain Dosa and Onion Rava Masala Dosa which was filled with potato masala and served with coconut chutney and sambar. We ordered one main curry dish to share which was the Chettinadu Aadu a lamb dish cooked in traditional Chettinadu masala. The portions were big enough for the both of us and we both particularly enjoyed the Onion Rava Masala Dosa (tasty and also really filling! Food was good, although I have to say that service was quite slow considering that there was only us and another table with two people. I would visit again if I ever needed another South Indian food fix."
