"My husband and I went to the Valentine's dinner this year. The food was lovely but boy, what a wait to get it!! Okay, they also had a function/birthday party the same night, but if you know you're going to have a full house, then put an adequate amount of staff on to compensate. I felt sorry for another lady seated close by who got her dinner and it had mushroom sauce/gravy with it. When it was pointed out to the waitress, the customer got 'What don't you like mushrooms or something?' I would have thought that this is beside the point!! The lady asked for NO mushrooms. She was brought another meal but her partner had finished his before hers arrived. Some valentines for that poor lady.Apart from the lateness, the food was cooked well and tasted lovely. It would be nice when there is a function if the doors were closed, especially when it's something like Valentines Day when you'd like it to be quiet and intimate for other diners. One can only hope that this was a one off."
