"I come here every Tuesday night for bingo. The last two weeks we have had the worst server. Forgot or messed up our order every time continually brought us the wrong drink we asked for silverware to eat our dinner. 15 minutes later as we sat with cold food I got up and asked the bartender for silverware. At which point the waitress said did you need something. I said yes the silverware we asked for 15 minutes ago. We usually get good service but this makes me never want to come here again"

"I recently finished my second order of the 3 meat platter from Bar 3. Here's what I thought about each item: Beef Brisket About 2/3 of the pieces that I got were gristle/fat. The meat was good, but I prefer the majority of what I order to be meat. Smoked Turkey Delicious. I am a turkey fan and I ended up ordering this on both orders. Burnt Ends This was my first experience with burnt ends, which I ordered after reading someone else's review. They were okay, but not worth ordering again. Chicken Someone else wrote a review about this being dry, but I loved the chicken. This was my favorite of all the meats I ordered the skin was perfectly crispy, and the meat was very flavorful. The chicken was the main reason I came back a second time. It wasn't dry (at least not beyond what I would expect from BBQ'd meat). Sides These were my biggest disappointment. Only one of the 4 sides I tried was any good. The Hoppin' Johns were great nicely seasoned and delicious and I'd order them again. Moving onto the bad.... the mac and cheese was just sort of dry/sticky and not very flavorful it felt like the macaroni was a little overcooked. The garlic mashers were just dry and thick and didn't have much in the way of garlic flavor. The potato salad was blah the potato slices seemed a little on the hard/undercooked side, so it was sort of like eating some semi raw potato slices dipped in very thin sour cream and sprinkled in dill. The slices needed to be cooked just a bit more and it needed some more seasoning. That said, it's possible I just picked the wrong sides. I'll keep trying some of the other options... The final verdict is that I would come back here to get the turkey and chicken for sure both were extremely delicious and had plenty of meat. I knocked off one star for the sides and another star for the amount of gristle on the brisket, but if you prefer milder flavors for the sides, then that might be a good thing for you."

"The Ambiance seemed nice enough, although I was seated at a high top table near the bar. I was able to watch some football. The service was ok.. a little slow as there were not very many people in at 7:00 pm. Maybe it was because alot of the staff seemed to be just wandering about? My waitress immediately recommended the special, but I wanted Creole tonight. The food was not that good. I ordered the Jambalaya, but it came out pretty dry, with cold cheese sprinkled on the top as if it was an afterthought. The worst part was that the sausage and shrimp were just dumped into the pot frozen and warmed up- with the tails still on. I was wondering what that plastic was I was chewing on. I had to spit it out. I asked my waitress to tell the chef to take the tails off the shrimp next time they made it for someone, and that it obviously tasted frozen. She said she was sorry about that, but then added that she did not know why they serve southern food on the menu when they don 't know how to prepare it properly. I still tipped her well, as it was not her fault, but I won 't go back."

"Great joint for an afternoon dinner and drinks. Large group of us tried many items. Beer was great they had a Star Wars themed list going on. The Luke Skylager was delicious. Had the spicy chicken sandwich so did my table mate and we both got different sauces (two options) for the sandwich and split it. Loved the RedHot based sauce the most (really not spicy, just a flavorful). I do wish they served their full menu on the patio outside. But instead, it’s free seating and you can only order appetizers/beer and have to order at the bar. So we ended up eating inside and then moving outside after dinner to continue our drinks. Beautiful view."
