"This was my first stop for Restaurant Week 2022! Very cozy and cute neighborhood location on the South Hill. Quinton was our server and he was fantastic! We were a group of 5 and all got a variety of dishes from the RW Menu. I walked away feeling pleasantly full without feeling like I overate. Beet salad seems to be the rave right now as I've seen it featured on many menus...their salad was a delicious fresh start followed by, gnocchi and cookie butter cheesecake. The cheesecake consistency was a bit too mushy I like mine more firm, but it was still great! Everyone was happy with their meal extra points for how awesome the wings were!"

"We have given this place two tries. First time they gave us a menu with most items scratched off. We were told that they sold a lot of their food for Hillyard days. I ordered pulled pork, beans and fries. The flavor was good. Service was good. Second time we went they again gave us a menu with a lot of the menu items crossed off. We did get to try the ribs. They had a good flavor, not great. The potato salad was a little too tangy for my taste. I realized that most of the people didn't go in there for the food so let's look at it as a beer joint. Well we asked for a pitcher of beer, the waitress brought us a 1/3 of one. She said the keg blew and she was waiting for someone to come there and change it because she wasn't going to do it. She charged us for a half of a pitcher. Later we decided to order one more pitcher of a different kind and here she came with another 1/3 of a pitcher that she was going to charge us half for because that keg had also blown. . I told her no, fill it up with something else. They were supposed to have karaoke but that never happened. I could see the kitchen as I walked to the bathroom and all I saw in there was a crockpot. The bartender kind of hinted to the fact that the owner has been taking a lot of trips and not been paying a lot of attention to the bar. She also said they didn't serve food for the Hillyard days so it sounds like she was saying that was just an excuse used on trip one. We won't be going back."

"Save yourself the disappointment and go to wing stop. I got takeout. 10 traditional wings half honey parm half 6.5 heat. I also got a side order of waffle fries. The wings were small, dry, rubbery and didn’t taste fresh at all. I also found whole feathers on some of the wings which was disturbing. The 6.5 wings we not spicy at all. I paid a total of about $35 for these and am really disappointed. After chewing through 2 wings desperately trying to like them that’s when I found the feathers, it was disgusting!!! I could have gone to wing stop and got my original order for $17 bucks and that’s for 20 wings. These were all in all a huge disappointment for me."

"Osprey has a beautiful patio overlooking the river, and the Ruby River Hotel is a lovely place to stay. Nice menu at the hotel. I ordered a favourite I'd had in the past, the tomatoes with burrata appetizer, with red pesto. Grilled bread, pesto, and burrata were great, but this time the dish was served with unripe green tomatoes. Not a green tomato variety that was ripe, but crisp, unripened tomatoes. During a season when all manner of tomatoes are in season and ripe. I asked the server about them as after trying one I was dissatisfied. She came back to inform me the kitchen only had green and yellow tomatoes. During harvest time? How strange. So my favourite dish was disappointing overall. A fail on those green tomatoes you got delivered and had to use. In a dish where the tomatoes are one of the starring ingredients, don't do that."
