"We were on our way to Dalton In Furness as we found it impossible to find anywhere safe to park in Kirby Lonsdale, we happened to see the Plough and pulled in on the off chance we could have a light lunch. On our entering we were made to feel very welcome and shown to a table. We did not order any alcoholic drinks as we were driving. I asked for a pot of tea and my wife had fresh orange,we both ordered sandwiches, I had the pulled pork and my wife had smoked salmon on ciabatta with a side order of chips. The drinks and food were fresh and tasty and the chips were exceptional. Should we be in the area again we would have no hesitation in visiting. PS we also purchased a hand crafted walking stick."

"We went to a late lunch and it was amazing. there was a nice warm welcome and the staff could not do enough for them! the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend the enchiladas and a gin and guayava jarrito! I can't wait to come back when we're in the lakes."

"The workers are really good at their work, eating is really good quality, especially the broken marsbar. fish and chips are really good, teig was crunchy and fresh aswell, as the fish well cooked. great service and fast ordering. we have gone back"
