"Can't speak to food quality as we never got our order. 2 beers only took 30 minutes to get. Poor guy behind bar was swamped (5 people at bar) bathroom had no locks, urinal broken off of wall and toilet overflowing. Really wanted to like...the place as this was our second visit in 3 yrs. The first visit wasn't much better. Rasta envisions laid back and chill, this place needs help. If you have a 0 time-line and don't mind taking a risk with sketchy food prep (see kitchen order/prep window) then you've found the right spot. Oh and btw, dont mention your unhappy as they really don't have a sense of humor...... wash your hands...repeatedly."

"Went here because I heard it was some of the best food in the city. It was my first time trying Mexican food right out of Mexico and I wasn't very impressed. It was a good atmosphere and okay food but I prefer the Mexican restaurant from my hometown in North Carolina."

"Just a short walk from the boardwalk, this is a pleasant place that serves authentic Mexican food. To be clear, this in not Tex Mex and you might be disappointed. For example, there’s no tacos or enchiladas on the menu. There is no AC but lots of fans. This is common for Cozumel. Chips an two types of salsa are complimentary Servers speak fluent English. Service is very good. Food is good but not spectacular. They e apt credit card and US dollars Two entrees, bottled water, and guacamole came to $28 without tip. TIP: Pay with credit card and ask to be billed in pesos. They can charge you in dollars for about 10% more."

"Okay, five stars for the guacamole and cheap beer. Located next door to the Villa Blanca, this is a great place to wait for the September rain clouds to blow over. Very casual location with some covered seating. Really good pico de gallo, ask for the habanero salsa, and an outstanding fresh-made guacamole with generous squeezes of lime. It isn't prepared table-side, but when you order it you can see and hear it being pounded in the kitchen. And they do have a surprisingly wonderful fruit plate! Sweetest grapefruit ever, with orange slices, pineapple, papaya, melon and banana. Great prices, a mix of mexican snacks with burgers/fries available, and there is often a big beautiful white dog lounging in front of the dive shop downstairs. What's not to love?"

"The gentleman who rented us our scooter (Getaway Rentals, Miguel also a great recommendation) suggested that we try this place for breakfast. He says it was a local favorite. Exactly what we were looking for. He wasn’t wrong. My daughter and I went there for breakfast and ended up ordering lunch food at the same time as well. Everything was so good that we just kept ordering. The servers were laughing at how much we were ordering. Everything was excellent. Give them a try."

"First trip to the island of Cozumel!Found a sweet part of the ocean where all the local families were hanging out swimming, snorkeling and just spending a lazy Sunday afternoon with their loved ones. We had been exploring the island by bicycle and decided to try this family owned restaurant. We sat overlooking the lovely water and families! The restaurant personnel was VERY attentive to our every need. We ordered ceviche de camarones the order was huge, the flavor was incredible not to much lime just the right amount! We also ordered a coktel de mariscos! It was packed with seafood,hint of orange sweetness, fresh onion and cilantro garnished the coktel. Our meal came with some delicious salsas to accompany our meal. They also prepared for me a VERY lemony limonada ( fresh squeezed limes with mineral water) simple yet very refreshing. Some of the dishes that were coming out of the kitchen looked amazing like the whole cooked fish, and tacos! They prepare delicious black beans for the vegetarians out there! This family recently opened this restaurant I think if your in Cozumel you should stop by and try it. It was some of the best seafood that we had while in Mexico!"
