"We came for lunch. We were told by relatives that this restaurant is a popular spot in this neighbourhood. There are indeed many positive aspects: there is a very large parking, a large seating capacity, a menu with significant choices, and reasonable prices. We were told that restaurant specialties included the smoked meat and the pizza and we ordered these. The service was fine but not personal. We found the portion size of the meals to be very good. The food however was very average. The smoked meat sandwich looked very good however the meat had no taste and the rye bread was too soft. The fries were average. The pizza was fine but nothing more."

"If you are looking for authentic Salvadorean food, go here. I lived a few years in El Salvador and the pupusas tasted exactly as they tasted in El Salvador. Service is very good, simple but beautiful place. Drink are ok, even if cocktails are made of fresh fruit (pina colada) in my opinion I've tried much better. Just be careful when you order sometimes they make mistakes and they dont bring you what you ordered (pupusas) and it takes a little while to get your order. But overall I still recommend it"

"Found this place really randomly.. was looking for a place with wifi to study with my laptop and turns out i found barros luco like this! I had my own lunch but the empanadas looked way too good so i grabbed 2(they are hugeee) (for like 3,75 if i remember well)!! I had the spinach and cheese ones and they were pretty good! Had a decent cappuccino with it which i highly needed! The staff was super sweet and i actually find the place to be a great quality/price spot. Will come back!"

"I had a nice dinner at Lola Rosa with two friends recently. The food was good, and the service was above average. While I may return, the average rating compared with comparable Montreal restaurants is appropriate. Given the shortage of decent restaurants in...the Milton Park area, I would recommend this place for area residents, yet tourists can find more interesting places on St. Laurent or St. Denis streets."
