"We go to this restaurant every time we come to vallarta. We always order Frieda'S dinner which consists of a margaritas or tequila to start, followed by peanut soup (sounds soup trance but is fabulous), then a chilled chile rellano topped with cream and pomegranate seeds, then your entree--I always have the chicken mole--wine is included--and then flan for dessert. This whole dinner with the beverages was $56 US for TWO!! The restaurant is filled with Frieda Kalo memorabilia and pictures of famous patrons who have dined there. We love it"

"We visited this restaurant on our first night in Puerto Vallarta. We were staying at a nearby all-inclusive, but wanted to get out and experience the real food of PV. El Barracuda did not not disappoint and I would say we had our very best meal of the trip here. We got there on the early side; around 6pm, and were taken immediately to a table with a gorgeous view of the ocean (I think almost every table has a view of the ocean). The entire waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. Our appetizer was my single favorite dish; seared octopus and mushrooms, served with garlic butter and baguette. It was AMAZING. I had the smoked marlin tacos which were fine, but my fiancé got the Baja Shrimp Tacos and they were absolutely delicious. This is a place we will absolutely return to on our next visit to PVR."

"We have walked by this little restaurant many times. It is always busy with locals and smells good. We stopped in and had the most amazing shrimp and beef tacos. They were made fresh to order. Came very hot and were excellent. We will be by again"

"We stayed at Costa Sur Resort. So when we got hungry, we just ate at the restaurant. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here on several occasions. Breakfast buffet-----excellent, lots of Mexican entrees and a made to order Quesadilla and Omelet bar....food was fresh and delicious. Lunch/Snack c/o La Cascada and Barefoot Bar----the ceviches and cocktails were amazing, the shrimp burrito was so delicious, the chicken wings and fried calamari were mouth watering. Dinner --- the best and most flavorful was the marinated flank steak, the shrimps were huge and fresh and gooooood, the salad bar had unique selections...the dressings, mango, tamarind, guava....all were so amazing. The penne pasta with 4 cheeses is what my grandson ate mostly and he loved it"

"Los cortes de excelente calidad, con un rico sabor, y a muy buen precio. No le doy la calificacion de excelente, porque demerite el sabor o el precio, si no porque no esta en un lugar con una vista mejor, esta en un lugar centrico, pero no muy conocido. Pero de ahi en fuera ampliamente recomendado. Riquisimos los cortes. Buena atenciòn y rapidez en el servicio."
