"First time here. Came over lunch period after an apt. next door. Have heard about this place though. Food was pretty good but just took way too long for 2 simple meals and no it wasn't busy. Servers were friendly and all but just not attentive. After food was served she never returned once to check up on our meals. Overall just meh and a forgettable experience. My favorite part were the paintings."

"Was extremely happy and positively impressed by this place! The first place in Winnipeg with really tasty steak! Meat was soft and medium-fried, the same as I asked to do. And sause was aside, and not on the steak (which is extremely popular in Winnipeg unfortunately). Dessert was also amazing. And unlike many other places in Winnipeg, “Boston pizza” had many tasty lemonades. Which were also listed in menu and I could choose any without asking the waiter if the restaurant has lemonades or not. Definitely recommend for visiting. Food and service the same as in Europe.? But would recommend to clean the restaurant and washrooms better. Maybe because of children there were a lot of mess on the floor."

"Our server Brendan was so likable and new the menu well. He was efficient at everything. Our food was served hot and it was delicious. Getting into the parking lot however was not straight forward. It would help if it could be approached from Henderson and Chief Peguis Trail."

"I recently went to Rumor's for the first time with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. It was awesome to receive half-priced tickets as part of the birthday club.The menu for the restaurant is extremely small. I get that the cooks need to be able to expedite and fill orders quickly and efficiently, since everyone comes at the same time, and they want to limit service during performances, but a little more variety would be greatly appreciated. I also think that soda should come with free refills. The host was extremely funny and engaging and had the entire room in stitches.The headliner although funny, had very vulgar material. I can appreciate dirty humor, and did find his material funny, but after about 30 minutes, I was left wondering when he'd be finished making sex and penis jokes, and maybe try some other avenues. Of course I understand that Rumor's simply hosts different comics and has little to no influence over the material they share.Overall, I had an enjoyable time and would gladly go again."

"Stopped in for lunch, on a recommendation of some friends. Restaurant was decorated in some colourful themes, with the chairs and tabletops sporting bright Mexican colours. I had the Barbacoa Burrito, which was shredded beef, with beans, rice, cheese etc. Portion was large for a lunch portion, and tasted great! My wife had the Chicken Quesadilla, which was also a good size, and reportedly also very tasty. Prices were a little steep, with the 2 dishes, and 2 water costing $26.00 and change. Menu states they use Free Range Chickens, and natural beef for the dishes, plus they offer all natural fruit juices. This may account for the pricing. I would recommend this spot to all who like Mexican, and natural ingredients too. The prices certainly wouldn't stop me from returning. Nice to have a Mexican restaurant in this end of town."
