"There was a lot of effort put into the renovation which was nice. One thing to note is the emergency button near the toilet. It's good that they pay such attention to detail in the design. As for the food, we originally did not expect it to be authentic as it is operated by non-Japanese; however, it came out pretty decent. We ordered BBQ eel, avocado shrimp roll and a ramen and they all tasted reasonably fresh. The price was reasonable. I hope they can keep up with it."

"This is one of those places that is so good that you almost don't want others to know about it, just so you can selfishly have the hidden gem all to yourself. Despite that urge, I will happily tell you that 39 BBQ (though I suspect the name might change in the future) is genuinely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Aurora. The menu is rather small, but with good reason, as the chef does not want to put anything on the menu he is not proud of. We tried 6 different dishes (including dessert) and every one tasted great. Add on to that, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. Very happy with my first experience here and I will be coming back often."

"Have eaten here several times.The many permutations of the classic corndog are amazing. With varieties like cheese or beef. The sauces and toppings take something simple and make it complex.my personal favourite is a large beef with crispy ramen noodles with teriyaki drizzle.A great treat.Kid-friendliness: Lots of choices gives kids the option to go from simple to complex."
