"Great fresh sushi. Their toro is my favorite. Sad they took the sushi boat option off their new menu. Looking forward to trying their omakase soon. First time trying their ramen and it wasn't anything to brag home about, but the sushi is definitely good. Nice locally owned no frills sushi."

"This place has some of the highest quality fish I’ve ever had in salt lake county. Came for a cute bento place, left with one of my new favorite Japanese places. Fills a hole I have missed since Kokos Kitchen hours became so sporadic."

"Food is terrible and overpriced. I love Japanese food. I especially love places that do bento boxes for lunch at a decent price. Thought I would try this place, what a mistake. I ordered a teriyaki chicken shrimp tempura bento box. The chicken was dry and the tempura was so battered you couldn't taste the vegetables or shrimp. It came with a Cali roll which I asked to substitute for an up-charge to a philly roll (salmon, cream cheese, avocado). They charged $11. The bento box was only $12.99. Not only was it supposed to just be an up-charge, but most places locally only charge $8/$9 for a philly roll. I would've been fine if the roll was worth it. However, they skimped on the ingredients. It was mostly just rice, you could barely see the avocado in most the pieces. Also, too much dressing on the salad, could've been an easy fix, would've preferred a ginger dressing too, not the mustard one they serve it with. It's a shame. The resturant has a nice atmosphere and had it been good, I would've become a regular. However, I'll never step foot in there again."

"We wanted to go to another place, but found out that they won't open until next week, so we went here to a whim. The food was really good, the service was a little slow, but it was a Saturday so understandable. I brought my son to eat sushi, my nephew, who tried 7 sushi for the first time (not a fan, but we have something to work. I'm not a fan of mushrooms, but I decided to try their filled mushrooms and they're really good. The service was somewhat disappointing, we hadn't made so many family memories while we were waiting for it to have influenced the review more. If you support local and family restaurants, this is a good choice."

"We had a great experience!! We got the Tarzan sushi roll, Toro ramen with thick noodles and the Blend broth, and the Meat Lovers ramen with thin noodles and Tonkotsu broth. All of it tasted great and there was plenty of it!! The sushi was obviously fresh. The broth on both of our ramens was delicious and flavorful. The noodles were a perfect consistency. Service was awesome as well. Both the servers working today were super sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back!!"
