"The collection of 5 star reviews all left at the very same time 3 months ago by people who have never stayed at the farm, or were there years ago, might speak for itself! The farm sits on a heavenly and serene landscape but, unfortunately, the majority of staff who are in place to see residents through their mental health issues and/or addiction are not as effective as they could be or should be; overbearing when they needn 't be, and aggressively at times, and very hands-off exactly when they shouldn 't be. The farm 's main focus seems to be their finances (understandable with so many staff to pay and feed! so they tend to focus on, and hold on as tightly as possible to, residents who are the greatest financial assets with anyone on scholarship seen as less important and getting far less positive attention, some even treated as problematic. At its inception, Gould Farm set off with such good and pure intentions and, with some fine-tuning, redirected focus and reassessment, has the potential for greatness again someday."

"Hi visits the Pelican family on the 9th. July late evening after sunset at 17 miles drive. The owner got us warm and we ordered vegetarian pizza. He kindly asked us to wait 15 minutes. We were treated with a fresh pizza and it was great. It was hot, sharp and smooth. The crust of the pizza was incredibly smooth. And it was perfect for our Indian flavor buds, as we restored hot, spicy and delicious pizza."

"The 7.2 oz box of Lula 's Chocolates: Best Easter gift ever?Absolutely!New Best Friend was gracious enough give us a hostess gift of Lula 's divine confections.Who knew such fine quality bonbons existed in Monterey?Now, I do! Can 't wait to have a quick drive down the Coast and do further research ie buy a box or two of Lula 's treats.)The Chocolates are very, very, high quality. The dark chocolate Sea Salt Carmel maybe small in size but is HUGE in quality, flavor, and taste!"

"First customer. First, the food, probably the best take-out sandwiches my family and I ever had. If of those who are not there to explain the experience given according to the description. A) these were sandwiches with structure. The bread (I had Ciabatta, others had sourdough) was sturdy, crusty and chewing on the inside. No bite and filling fall from the other side. B) the ingredients were fresh and tasty, the meat was cut more on the thicker side and very appreciated by the meat eaters in our group. C) the flavored Mayo/Spread that it uses was delicious and a compliment to the sandwich. The season is perfect. D) We have actually forgotten our drinks and was pleasantly surprised to see the price returned to our card this evening. E) Enjoy the best sandwiches on a picnic on the beach what we did. The best sandwiches ever. Thanks Mundos!"
