"I have to say that given the long-standing reputation of this facility, I had high expectations. Overall, unfortunately, they were not met.I recently came here for a dinner meeting and upon entering, I actually waited in the lobby area for 15 mins to try to figure out where to go. I went into each room on the main floor including the dining areas, library, and bar area, and there were no staff members available. In fact, there were no staff members available at the concierge desk, although there were 2 individuals in the main office who clearly saw me standing at the desk for sometime, although did not bother to tend to me.I eventually just went upstairs to see if that's where the meeting was being held, and in fact it was. We were seated in the 'London Room' which is a nice meeting space overall for smaller groups, with a projector and audio setup. The wait staff here were attentive and quite nice.The dinner service was quite delayed in that although we were served h'ors d'oeuvres starting at 6:30, the appetizer did not come out until well after 8pm. There was a choice between a thai squash soup (which I hear was very oily), and the salad I ordered which was overdressed (and drenched in vinaigrette).For the main options, there was a beef tenderloin, and the salmon with mashed potatoes which I ordered. Overall, it was bland.My dessert (to go) was the chocolate cake, which tasted like a boxed chocolate cake, dressed up with caramel sauce and strawberry slices.Overall, I wasn't impressed, especially considering that this is a 'private club' allowing access only to members, even for special engagements. I would expect that at least upon arrival, individuals would be greeted, and that the service and food would reflect not only the reputation, but the associated cost of membership and services."

"This is a hidden gem! Parking is a wee bit of an issue but well worth it! Delicious vegan cupcakes and other goodies. We enjoyed a cupcake and Americano (made from local coffee) while taking in the very cool musical decor. They even have a record swap and drop! How cool is that!?! Friendly server and quaint surroundings make the Boombox Bakeshop a must-visit!"

"Delicious customizable ice cream! costly for two small’s in a fancy waffle cone BUT the small was actually huge. you can pick one of many flavours and add unlimited toppings that they mix in. since they mix it in, though, i found that the ice cream was very soft and melting quick (and didn’t look super aesthetically pleasing). for the amount that you get, this is a delicious very sweet treat that i would definitely recommend! i got the cappuccino flavour with a few toppings, the ice cream was so big that i had to freeze half and save it for the next day lol!"

"I was looking for a bakery in london that was open on Monday. I was excited that I found one near where I was and received good reviews on yelp. I called donuts and pre-ordered that my man will be picked up in a few hours. after my advance payment I saw an offer for 15% of their first order on yelp. I called happiness and they told me they didn't know anything about the offer. I spoke to the manager at the other place and she wouldn't honor the voucher. I even made screens and sent them to her by email. I received no answer back and no credit. I could understand if they had no ratings or were not actiw on yap. as a business owner, however, they should update their pages and search through review pages, good or bad. I didn't look for a hand and I can pay for my tasty. I can't imagine that I'm the only person who saw this. Despite the tasty delicious (mousse kuchen and donuts,) this is a bad customer service. I'm not going back there."
