"Out of the touristic route and traditional for mantovani. They make the stracotto with his true ingredient: donkey meat. Is not a big deal I think, meat is meat, and is very tasty with a more stronger taste than beef. The macaroni is the deal, perfect as my nona use to make. Italy is Italy, nothing compares."

"Lots of locals seemed to be eating here so, whilst it's more expensive than some places, it seemed worth a visit. I had the traditional pumpkin ravioli and my husband had the tagliatelle bolognese, which was very tasty and came in a big portion! Very close to the Palazzo Te, with outside seating, too, and an English menu."
