"Service is great if it is not busy, I noticed when there is a line it is really slow Other than the croissants are incredible, they are light and fluffy (I love Matcha) filled with light Matcha cream And the coffee is really nice that I come here whenever I see my family and will definitely go back!"

"Bake Shoppe makes many, many good things, but for me, one item is the hands down favorite, the above all else standalone dessert. I've never seen it for sale anywhere else, and it's one of the greatest things going. I'm talking about RUFFLES MARSHMALLOW TREATS... that's right, like Rice Krispy treats, but made with Ruffles potato chips. This may be the most incredible invention of the century. It's just so simple salty chips coated in marshmallows. But this makes for one sophisticated treat perfectly sweet and savory and crunchy and gooey all at the same time. It's delightful. And guess what? It's also gluten free!!!!! I said GLUTEN FREE! So the next time you need treats to take to a non glutenite, go here and get these. Screw all those so called gluten free vegan bakeries with their weird hard cupcakes and hockey puck cookies. This is the best gluten free treat around, and people go absolutely bonkers for them. Cause they are awesome. I apologize now for telling you about them because once you have them, you will forever crave them, and you will have to go here to get them. Lucky for all of us, Bake Shoppe is usually open later than other bakeries, check out those hours. They also have other awesome things like ice cream sammies in the summer, and cakes with profanity on top and sprinkles inside, and sugar cookies with Tupac on them. They also stock jams from Kitten and the Bear, which is amazing for those times when KATB is already closed and you need jams for a gift. Too many other good things to mention. Sweet staff if you go in right before closing, they may even throw extra goodies in your bag gratis. This is so kind of them. Can't recommend enough 5 stars all the way."

"As I drove by, noticing that The Red Velvet Cake Company opened, I thought I would order a birthday cake for a special birthday. Cupcakes, tarts, pies, cakes, cookies - all look terrific and the samples were delicious. The black forest cake that I ordered as a birthday cake was fresh, gorgeous to look at, terrific tasting and loved by everyone who ate it. The price was most reasonable and the staff are very friendly and very accommodating."

"We had reservations for 2 people on a Saturday night at 8:30. There was a special on to celebrate their 25th anniversary a 3 course meal for 25.00. We had been there before and it was good, so decided to give it a try. We were met by an older man who we think is the owner. He was grumpy and not very courteous and despite the fact that the restaurant was virtually empty, he seated us in the back corner, near the kitchen. There were piles of dirty dishes at a table clearly visible to everyone. We received our menus, but there was no cutlery, no serviettes and we waited. And we waited. There was a young woman serving, the older man who sat us and a young man who we thought was the bartender but turned out to be our server. We waited at least 15 minutes before he came to take our drink order and remember the restaurant was at most 1/4 full. He brought our drinks in a reasonable time, and then brought our table setting and some bread two buns that were significantly under cooked. He then took our order. By the way, he was friendly enough. I ordered from the prearranged menu, my partner ordered al a carte. I asked for the Caesar salad and was asked if I still wanted the romaine lettuce. I gather that they are just about the only establishment still using romaine in all of North America. I decided on the green salad. My partner ordered the fried calamari. The dressing on my salad was good enough, but it consisted of a spinach base with shredded cabbage and carrots. The calamari was obviously reheated and rubbery. Bits of deep fried salmon and one solitary French fry was among the rings. For main course I had the salmon stuffed with cheese and spinach, cooked vegetables and basmati rice. All but the rice was fairly good, the vegetables well cooked without being over done. The salmon was well cooked. My partner had the barbecued chicken salad which was okay. Nothing to brag about. The problem was with the service. It took at least 30 minutes for the server to take the order and although it was delivered in a timely fashion (the appetizers too fast to have been prepared specifically for us) it took forever to remove the plates. Then I waited for my dessert order to be taken. We sat with our half finished plates for about 1/2 hour until out of frustration I had to call the server over. The same had to happen to receive the bill. This was the worst service I have ever had in any restaurant anywhere in the world I have eaten!"

"This place is super cozy would recommend They come during the holidays! They have beautiful little decorations, and it feels just warm and jolly inside. The food is decent and decent expensive and the service is great. I was here a few times and remember that breakfast is pretty good. I recently got chocolate cake and coffee that both were delicious. All in all, a pleasant experience. Come during the holidays with a date!"
