"This is a small casual cafe located on Granville, not far from Broadway. They have a pretty good selection of casual breakfast/lunch fair, including a variety of cakes and other baked goods. I've sampled several of their cake Lemon and Cream, Carrot Cake, German Chocolate, and Red Velvet) as well as a Chocolate Tart. All of the food was tasty, with the standouts being the German Chocolate and Red Velvet cakes, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The staff was also quite friendly. I do have a minor issue with their packaging: the plastic containers they have were a bit small/low and some of the cakes did get squished a bit, but that's just for takeaway. Otherwise, I seriously enjoyed my visit to this cafe, and I'd highly recommend checking this place out for some tasty and very affordable treats.<br/ <br/ Lemon and Cream Cake $3.50):<br/ 3.5/5<br/ This consisted of layers of cake sandwiching lemon curd and cream. Unfortunately, the cake did get a bit battered during the trip from the cafe back home. Fortunately, the taste was not effected. The cake was very tender and moist, and very tangy from the lemon. While I did find the lemon flavour to be a tad overwhelming, bordering on artificial, it was still quite enjoyable.<br/ <br/ Chocolate Tart $3.50):<br/ 3.5/5<br/ The crust was relatively tender, albeit a bit too blond and bland. The chocolate ganache was very good however: smooth without any waxiness, and a nice bittersweet flavour. I do find there to be a bit too much crust compared to filling.<br/ <br/ Carrot Cake $3.50):<br/ 3.5/5<br/ The cake was a tad on the drier side, but still tasty, and had a nice spicy flavour. It was filled with a good amount of raisins. The cream cheese was smooth and sweet: I personally would have preferred it to be a tad less sweet and a bit more tangy. This certainly isn't the best carrot cake that I've had, but it is still tasty.<br/ <br/ German Chocolate Cake $3.50):<br/ 4/5<br/ This consisted of two layers of chocolate cake sandwiching some custard filling, and was topped with shredded coconuts and caramel. The cake was incredibly tender and moist, with a nice bittersweet flavour and a great fragrance of coconut and liquor.<br/ <br/ Red Velvet Cake $3.50):<br/ 4.5/5<br/ This consisted of two layers of cake sandwiching a layer of custard filling and bits of chocolate cake, and was topped with another layer of cream cheese. Once again, the cake was incredibly moist while the custard was smooth and luscious, and melted in my mouth. This is easily my favourite of all the treats that I've sampled."

"Often the storefront closes late at night despite the advertisement itself as open 24/7. as someone with a nightly schedule and without other places open to being lied and only to discover, I cannot come into question in the restaurant, it is really terrible and frustrating. Either take your 24/7 sign or stop closing business at night"

"Bottom line is that the place is made look good to hide the fact that the food is made of cheap and not healthy materials.Breads and wraps are white bread, mashed potato tasted bitter which indicates the use of old cheap potato, and baked egg plant was half cooked and chewy which, again, an indicator of not being fresh.The only reason I didn't give this place rating of 1 was the soup. Surprisingly, that was Ok.I spent $10 to get a healthy lunch and it felt like I'd have been better off buying fast food. Not healthy nonetheless and cost less."
