"My friends from out of town wanted to check this place out so we came on a Saturday around 6:30pm. We were able to grab a table for 6 people outside. Sounds like the indoor seats are all reserved. We ordered the Serai Curry Laksa, beef rendang, nasigoreng, Hainanese chicken, sambal shrimp. We LOVED everything except the shrimp. I can?t eat spicy food and the curry laksa hada kick to it but it was tolerable for me. The bowl of rice that came out with the Hainanese chicken was also delicious! Willdefinitely come back to try the other dishes!"

"Went there and try when they first opened, it was better. Last week, went there , the waiter incorrectly ordered the wrong food for us even the fact that I confirmed with him twice. When he placed the food on our table , he realised he made a mistake , however , he didn't want to do anything but force us to keep the wrong order. All dishes were soaked in oil and salt. Not worth the expense price. Couldn't keep the original level anymore. Won't go again."

"Such courteous staff, a beautiful ambience and a lovely vibe. We tried our usual Asian staples- Nasi Lemak, Beef Randang, Ice Milo and something new- Lavenger ginger tea and Chicken Bao. The Bao was yum, despite the dough being sweet( maybe that is how it should be. It was my first try). Nasi Lemak was amazing. I have had only Nasi Lemak with fried chicken version. This one had a curried chicken and omelette instead of fried eggs. Their Chef had come to our table to enquire about the food and he said curried chicken is what people want here in Kerala, so they had to tweak the menu. He offered us some shrimp paste to try with the coconut rice that comes with the Nasi Lemak and it tasted so fresh. Beef Rendang I would say I have had better ones before. I am not an ardent fan of Iced Milo, but this was the closest version to the authentic one I heard from my husband. Lavendar tea was kind of ok. I am not a tea person, so I should not be rating this. It had a very mild flavour. The pretty interiors, the most welcoming staffs and the company made the food taste even better."

"This iconic establishment was established 75 years ago supposedly by a Chinese family in Bambalapitiya. Since the management has changed hands and reportedly owned managed by a family of varied established business interests. The food here is a great innovation of Chinese type food customized to suit the local palette. Overall many improvements can be done to raise the image and quality standards. The quantities appear to have shrunk although the prices have been raised. Nevertheless, my family and I always look forward to having a meal here."

"Poor customer service .When ordering confirmed Pork was available and even when i rechecked my order a day before delivery day the restaurant confirmed the order is all ok. On delivery day one hour prior to delivery they call and say NO PORK as the delivering restaurant is HALAL. This was suppose to be a treat from me to my office colleagues. Then i tell them send chicken instead then and they send a wrong order. When i called customer service they said to accept the order for today. What kind of service is this. Customer doesn't have to pay for an incorrect order. Since i promised my colleagues to give them the treat at a particular time i had to accept the incorrect order. Ideally they should give a discount or give it complimentary as its the restaurants fault."

"They have quite a lot of nyonya kuih selection but they do sell off quite fast. So you will need to go before lunch time if you intend to buy. We also ordered some nyonya dishes like popiah, pai tee, asam pedas seafood, sambal cili brinjal. Overall taste is quite good."

"I pretty much come here every day to eat my favorite salad (and the occasional sandwich) and I NEVER get sick of it. The food is consistently delicious and fresh and whenever they don't have an item in stock they offer me a free pastry... I also must confess that I consume way more sugar than one human being should, but eating at this fine establishment always makes me feel like the healthiest bish lol... and seriously, ALL of the staff rock. I've never gotten less than awesome service here. Thanks again!"
