"But the best pork ribs I've ever had in my life. They were naturally smoked and tender. The pages were made fresh. I had the potato salad and Coleslaw. Don't go without getting a piece of buttermilk cake. Unbelievable!"

I never had to throw my whole thing into something so ambitious, but it's inspiring to watch these beautiful people instead of talking! So I am happy to visit regularly! "We stopped at Roscoe 's after a weekend at Tanglewood, and I was pleasantly surprised by their fresh, well-executed, comfort food. We had the eggplant stackers, which the waitress recommended. This was new to me as a dish, but it has the appeal of spaghetti and lasagna in one dish. Their version was simple and satisfying, like your friend 's mom (who 's a way better cook than your mom) might make. We also tried Olivia 's salad , which had a variety of of obviously fresh, cooked and chilled vegetables, with fresh greens, orzo, and crab. It was mildly sweet, crisp, and well balanced. The worst I could really say is that the kitchen seemed slightly slow, but it was faster than most restaurants in out of the way places, and all of our food was clearly cooked fresh to order. We felt satisfied but not weighed down. The menu included some less healthy selections like fish and chips, which we didn 't try, so I can 't speak to their execution on potentially oilier foods. Overall, highly recommend."

"We came to town for the Saints/Eagles game, spent Friday night at the casino and about 9:30 or so had dinner here. It was a nice place a lot like some of the comparable steak houses (Shula's, Morton's, etc. . Similar menu but some nice specials. Service was very friendly and amiable impeccable really. Lots of attentive staff who were also not in your face all the time, and they didn't hover either. Very nice. Juan was our guy and he was great. For appetizers, we had some she crab soup. Pretty good, and we're from New Orleans and seafood dishes are a staple here. This is a cream based soup, almost bisque like and very well prepared. Excellent. So was their assortment of breads, which included some crispy flatbreads. For entrees, the group ordered a bone in filet, bone in rib eye, a chicken dish of some sort, and the Bucatini special with carbonara (and house smoked bacon . We had the horseradish mashed potatoes, mac and cheese (well, okay, orecchiette and cheese, and creamed spinach. It was all very, very good. I had the pasta and my dearly beloved had the rib eye (which I knew she wouldn't finish , so I also had some rib eye and it was very nice. She prefers medium well and I medium rare and even so, it was excellent and not a bit dry. Definitely an excellent choice and will go back."
