"Visited for my mum's birthday. We had starters, mains and a couple of us had desserts, food and service was great. As my mum was too full for a dessert, the waitress brought out a plate with happy birthday written in chocolate sauce, with a little fruit and a small pastry so she didn't feel left out. It was a lovely touch which was unexpected!"

"Amazing customer service, the staff there is really nice and can laugh with you. I am sure recommend to come here, but advise you to book as it seems to be very busy. The steak was F**KING beautiful wow! It was very full and thick. It came with a massive bowl of chips that I and partners could not even eat all.. I'm sure I want to come back. I had Sirloin Steak and my father had the Porterhouse that was massive. My partner has a big burger and mother had a lasagna that came with a salad or chips. For the desert I had a chocolate wing cake with ice, now I don't really like cake, but omg it was to die for. Really reasonable for price safe There are parking spaces directly outside if you are lucky to get a place, but if you are in Plymouth or on a holiday, you must come"

"This is a dull neighbourhood in an outer suburb, miles from the waterfront and the retail and entertainment centre of the city. The post war estates are inflated with light industrial units. This pub is not immediately recognisable as such. I pulled in for a quick pint and maybe a sandwich or pie. There were several cars in the car park but possibly only one other customer inside so I assume that the car park is used in the day by people who live or work locally. There were a couple of chalk boards advertising events from New Year on so obviously someone is making some effort and there is a bit of life to be had. Not apparent though when we went in. Friendly enough bar tender but not much selection. Feel of the large room was verging on desolate. We had our pint quickly and yearned to move on. Perhaps it's more fun later evenings and weekends? Took a couple of outside photos but didn't have the nerve to ask to do so inside."
