Me and my partner have been to the Southway and not had a pleasant evening. But tonight we thought we would stop at the new refurbished The Lockdown Bar and I can tell you it's a shock. The pub is lovely the outdoor area is surprisingly comfortable. We were welcome by staff who were very friendly and happy to help the indoor seating was very modern and new and can not wait to come back. You would be wrong to miss it... View all feedback.
What Jannerbloke doesn't like about The Southway:
This was not an enjoyable experience. It appears that the owners or management have not put any effort or interest into this place for quite some time. Despite being close to many residents, it is doubtful how many have returned after their first visit. The bar was empty, with only one other customer besides the staff, while it took us the entire time to finish one drink. View all feedback.
