"Even if you drive through the desert, this place is the last place I would recommend to stop. It's okay, but it has a really weird mood. They have a lot of European historical memories, photos, but there is no mention that the country... of the aboriginals by violence. There is an emu in a tiny closure that simply goes backwards and forwards, with a confused look into his eye. Emus are social creatures and it is clear that this Emu was good and truly crazy. It was disgusting and insulting. Only last resort."

"My best recommendation is to take yourselves to any other welcoming place on Todd Mall.Went to the Red Ochre for dinner this evening at 5:30 p.m. Three servers were chatting near the kitchen area. The restaurant was entirely empty--that's right, not 1 person. Took a bit for someone to come over. We asked to sit down for dinner. The server asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, he turned us away saying they were entirely booked for the entire evening. BOLOGNA! I am a university professor. My husband works in the medical profession. We were dressed respectfully for dinner.I am not sure what the issue was except for very poor service. There are other places with more personality, character, atmosphere, and great food just down the street. Don't waste your time here."

"Bugs in risotto. headkeeper came and advised that this is normal, they can not help to be alice springs and when we come to expect that mistakes will be in the food. meal comped, but poor attitude very unapokologetic headwaist. otherwise very nice if they don't mind eating dead bugs"

"For what you pay I would expect more than just filler. The dishes had more onion in it than what the dish title suggested, and for some reason the plain noodles had a heap of chilli through it. The fried rice was a little over...cooked, but at least the honey chicken was cooked well. I probably wouldn't order takeaway from here again."
