"Me and my family have been using Wongs for the past few years and it has never disappointed (unlike many Chinese takeaways in Brentwood). We usually get their special fried rice with fresh chillis, chicken and sweetcorn soup, dry ribs, chicken balls with sweet and...sour sauce, and chicken chow mein. For someone who is used to London Chinese takeaway (which is completely different from most Essex Chinese takeaway) it is tasty and the best I’ve had within this area."

"I cannot honestly believe that I have not thought to review this facility; it is by far the restaurant that my son and I visit most! sometimes with my partner, sometimes with my friends, we all go together to celebrate meals. we have. often visited with my grandfather before he died at the beginning of the summer. my son loves harvester restaurants because he gets his own salad items to choose and refill his own drink (he has also taken a pleasure on her plant-based burger, and he now decides for this about steak.) also they offer good food to affordable trips, which means that most people are willing to pay the prices and join them to eat when they are invited. we have a local harvester restaurant (in gidea park,) but eating and service in the Brentwood location gives their counterparts by far! the employees are incredibly welcoming and cheerful. as we are regular, they often remember that my son enjoys a bowl of olive oil and balsamico vinegar for his brot (instead of butter) and sometimes even begin to prepare it as we go through the door. I have cost many dishes in this restaurant and can honestly say that I never had a bad experience personally. sometimes someone on our table will complain about how their steak was cooked, etc.; in such places the employees are always understanding and receiving. we had to eat Christmas here last year, but unfortunately they had to close because of a shutdown. we have a family Christmas in my mother's house this year, but I would definitely consider eating here on the big day in the future as the personal is so fantastic and eating is more and more than sufficient. we have been eating here for several years regularly and are planning to eat here regularly for the foreseeable future! Many thanks to all the staff who make it always a pleasant experience!"

"Love this little pub and it was starting to become a regular place for us to visit. Today, I’m not so sure, listening to the two girls behind the bar discussing their night out constantly swearing loud enough for all the pub to hear, I think is unprofessional and really lowers the tone of what could be a lovely little pub. Will probably think twice before coming here again, shame."

"Had never had a bad eating of chris' and tonight was worth mentioning. I had the cod and they were perfect. I do not understand the negative reviews here unless they are from owners of other local chippies. all reviews on the local FB sites were positiw. the only negative was when deliveroo was used. when I used deliveroo at chris', they didn't even collect my order and when I called the personal, it still said on the theke. not chris' error, but I will always use chris' own delivery service now (and it's cheaper:"

"This place is a jewel, I and my wife usually come here for Sunday dinner. something we can recommend. last night we came with some friends, again this place lives up to its standards. Eat as always before place, the personal is welcoming...and friendly. the renter himself ensures that everything is in order. well worth a visit, make sure they book in advance as it is always busy."

"Different gravy! brentwood is not shy of options when it comes to order a frying dinner. However, if they ask several people where they recommend, and the spread eagle is a regular 'top 3' suggestion, then they know that it must be something special. it has been on my radar for some time, but this last week came the moment where I could see if it was as good as the locals suggest. here I will fight for the right variety to meet this place. this frying dinner was simply the best I had in the last few years. it would be easy to say that it is the best thing I ever had, so I will agree to it if I am in brentwood and want to roast one. I am 110% to spread eagle! I'm not sure if this is a standard option, but we were a group of youngs who fixed the bank holiday and wanted something to tie us. we asked if we could knock something for the 3 of us, and they rusted this absolute beauty. we felt badly asked, but nothing was too much annoyed. we were treated with a monster tomahawk (pork,) honey glazed veg, truffle oil potatoes, sukkulent beef, annoying crispy and tasty filling and yorkshire pudding 's sent out from the sky. all this has been accompanied by heavy quantities of gravity. To be honest, we were absolutely blown away from this and we were more tied to the rest of the evening. after an hour or so, and after several frying dinners have appeared in the pub (unsurprising), the chef came out for some fresh air and we could not thank him enough. also top boys! this pub is a must for me. if the word-written description attached image of the roasting dinner is not enough to win it, then they trust that this little gem sits in a beautiful background of brentwood, serves cold, crunchy moretti as well as a series of other tips. the mood is warm, fun and appealing and above all. the owners are clearly all for the customer and go beyond and beyond to ensure that this pub stands on the shoulders of the largest industry Britain! come down, get a frying dinner on order. but leave one for me!"
